I admit it turns out the cat I went over to help at a friends house, last week, did have severe, Chronic Renal Failure, and had to be euthanized. The owner feels terrible about not addressing the symptoms sooner. People, when your cats lose weight and go off their feed/water for more than a day, if at all possible, get 'em into the vet, as it can go real bad, pretty quickly. It'd be a shame, after they're seriously suffering or dead, to look back on those signs that were there, but you hoped would resolve themselves on their own. Remember, unlike dogs, cats do NOT fare well without food after a day or so. RIP Leo.
