Bubba is asleep in a basket of grocery bags... He may be fooling me long enough to grab one and put it over my head in my sleep.

Oh, I so sorry about the surgery. It's an easy one though, and you'll be back home tonight. I went to the grocery store to pick up a movie and some provisions on my way home from my surgery, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

{{{EP}}} Hope your surgery went well

I am recovering from a severe sore throat. The kitties have been getting away with more than they usually do because I have been incapable of yelling at them for about two weeks. Today I took a nap and Angel was so cute. She cuddled up, put her little head on my shoulder, and napped right with me.

Bit is sitting in my lap watching me in my endless search for a job. Everyone else is passed out all over the place.

EP< hope all goes well......I had an appendectomy about 2 years ago....pretty quick, I was out of the hospital in 47 hours. Should've listened to the nurses and stayed one more night, but I wanted OUTTA THERE! I don't do hospitals at all!

Earlier I was looking at Bit's eye, and it's the strangest thing...the circle around his pupil is green, but there is a ring of brown around the green...... I noticed it a while ago, but thought it would change to solid green by now, both of his parents have green eyes. It's pretty cool actually, wish he had both of them. He seems to have stopped growing, but his appetite is still that of, oh, say a ROTTWEILER! His favorite position when I'm at the computer is sleeping in my arms, which makes typing tough. He sneaks up thru the space on the keyboard tray, and he's giong to get stuck there if he gets bigger....it's a tight sqeeeeeeeeze as it is! He's just so cyoooot! He comes in at night to sleep next to me like he did when I first brought him in. Since it's cooler, they all come to bed with me.....it's like a very warm, secure comforter when they are all next to me. Makes me feel loved!

My cat is asleep on my chest, tucked under my chin like a violin and I have the laptop on my knees: we're in bed. It's a very uncomfortable position for me, but she likes it. She decided to join me in the bath yesterday... another not so bright puddy tatt!

well surgery went well. i went down to recovery and the surgery got under way at 3:51pm and i was out and back in my room and able to call hubby at 6:45 pm. The surgon came in and talked to me already this morning and said that i can go home, but have to go to her office sometime during the week. other than that all went well. Liproscopic and came out good. the 2 larger incisions hurt more than the smaller ones. I am fixing to work on homework wrap up for last week and such and try to think of how exactly im going to keep mystic off my tummy till the pain heals up other wise she will be on me and kneeding trying to make mommy feel better. this will be interesting when i get home.

Glad to hear your surgery went well.

I know what you mean about cats jumping on tummies. I had abdominal surgery 4 1/2 years ago. I was laying on my back, which is totally different, since I normally lay on my side. Misty was bound and determined to keep jumping right on the site of the surgery and kneeding. I finally had to put a tray on my tummy to keep her off.

She's used to me laying on my side and jumping up on my outer thigh and didn't quite know what to make of my lying on my back, since she had probably never seen me do that before.

Bit was chasing the now busted up digital camera that I was looking at......not a good idea to try to figure out why something isn't working when you've missed your meds and have absolutely no patience for anything or anyone. The kittehs have figured out that mama isn't to be disturbed right now..... Wouldn't take too much to set me off right now, and there's no telling where that would put me. I'm trying real hard to be positive about my life right now, but it ain't working. But this isnt' the place for that.

Bit is trying to convince Mooch that it'd be fun to play with him.....Moochie begs to differ. Bit's playing with the blind strings, so I'm waiting for the thing to let loose and come down on Moochie. I'm sorry, but if that happens, it'll be the best laugh I've had all week! I'm hearing the occasional warning from Moochie to Bit, but he's not haring a word of it. Bit is now under the keyboard shelf trying to get my attention.....he's here to mooch some of my chicken soup. This after 2 plates of his own food...piggy!

I left the kitties a few tidbits of roast beef in one of their food dishes, right next to the dish with dry food. Surprisingly, Angel ignored the roast beef and went right for the dry food. Go figure.

Misty, on the other hand, polished off the roast beef tidbits.

Last night I came home after being away for three days.  Three kitchen cupboard doors were open (not unusual), the recliner was reclined (not TOO unusual since he uses the back of it to springboard across the living room) and the TV was on - Um, What?  The TV was on??

I asked him where he hid the beer bottles and cigar butts.  He gave me an innocent mew.

Nueva, did you check the recyling bin? *snort* That's too funny! Can't say as I've ever come home to find proof of the kitteh party.....mine are pretty good at hiding the bodies...I mean, evidence!

Bit's been feeling his oats...he's jumped on everyone here at least once, and keeps trying to gnaw my arm off. And he'd just flopped down on the keyboard tray and drifted off when Moochie tried to get into the clothes hamper and knocked it over.....{sigh}...noe Bit's awake and prowling again. He just reached up and grabbed Moochie's tail, and Mooch is sitting here looking at me as if to say "Make him stooooooop, mom!!!" KIDS!

One is asleep in her bed by the couch, the other is snoozing inches away from the mouse here on the desk on his pillow, the spoiled brat.
