Seems Angel has now learned the "dipping" habit from Lily. They dip their paw into the bowl of water, then lick the water from their paw rather than just drinking from the bowl. Guess it's more special that way.

One cat is trying to clean her elizabethan collar (yes, she's that special) and the other is trying to figure out how long her favorite spot will take to dry. Mom just washed it, and the kitty wasn't happy about it.

Angel is heartily gobbling up the few ounces of leftover red snapper I cooked up for her. Turned out there were a few more ounces in the package than what my recipe called for, so she lucked out.

Trouble sat on top of my computer tower and almost fell off trying to lean down to snitch some of my spaghetti sauce that was fully loaded with meat. She almost knocked my bottled spring water all over my keyboard.

The siamese is asleep on the computer tower (took her almost 13 years to find that spot) and the birman is running around seeing what kind of chaos she can come up with.

Hope he comes home. My Angel is out on the porch grooming herself, after a minor skirmish with one of my neighbor's cats who made the mistake of venturing onto "her" property. Lily the indoor cat is by the door, transfixed by the goings on outside. Misty is waiting for me to come to bed,so she can attempt to keep me awake like she did last night.

HE'S BACK ! ! ! ! ! ! Today was the dawn of the 16th day, and from all the way outside I could hear his hideous bleating squall from under the truck ! ! ! That errant old black gentleman is now enthroned on his favorite quilt napping and snoring away. He came home! Oh, you guys! He's home!

Oh subway, that is great news!!!! I was socializing with three little stray kittens, had one where I could actually handle him, and he'd come running when I called, the other two would come running, but the only way I could pet them was to sneak up on them while I was eating....anyway, they have all come up missing in the last 3 weeks, two of them, including the little sweetie, and then the last little guy about 10 days ago. I hope they got taken in and not eaten by something, we have a lot of raccoons running around, but no dogs. They seemed to know not to go in the road, and stuck around my back door and garage pretty closely. I wanted to make sure they'd get adopted as pets instead of destroyed as feral. If I didn't already have my 4, I'd scarf up mama and all the babies she had. I hate people who just leave pets behind.....the lady next door feeds the neighborhood cats. I was taking care of about 8 of them here, but someone bitched to the manager, and I was told to not feed them anymore. I sneak stuff out when I can, but it breaks my heart to just walk away from their hungry little faces. [:(]
