Right now, KB is over trying to open the front door. Thank God he doesn't have opposable thumbs, or they'd all be outside. The front door opens to the hallway, so at least if they sneak out on me, they aren't getting outside. And I have regular doorknobs.....if I had the lever type handles, he'd be one step closer to outside. He learned how to operate them after living in a hotel when I moved to AZ.....took him about a week of watching me use it to figure it out. Damn cat is too smart for MY own good!

my preggy girl is clingy right now...as her day of delivery is approaching closer and closer now (basically she can be due any day now, though it is expected next week to happen)... however both ladies learned by now NOT to bring their toys to eat inside... hence my preggy lady eats her snails and slugs outside, and my tortie girl eats her spiders outside... they learned the hard way that any food brought inside...will end up in my bin!!! Smart girls I have [:)]

Misty scared the daylights out of me today. I went out for a while, came home, and couldn't find her. I called her and called her for 15 minutes. Then she nonchalantly walked into the middle of the room like she was wondering what all the fuss was about. Still don't know where she was hiding. She's so tiny she can fit into a lot of nooks and crannies.

Angel went over to my pet tortoise and stuck out her nose to sniff his head. He immediately retracted his head into his shell. She's lucky he didn't bite her on the nose!

I only pretend that he is mine. He goes up and down the street gathering affection and meals from the entire neighborhood. Sometimes he will consent, albeit grudgingly, to sulk for an hour or so in the rocking chair or splay himself directly on top of my current read or crossword puzzle. Right now he is fast asleep in the cedar gazebo bird feeder outside the dining room window.

Miss Angel is off on an outdoors adventure somewhere. Miss Lily is doing what she does best: begging to be petted. Miss Misty is napping peacefully after making numerous attempts to wake me up last night (some must have been successful if I remember them).

Angel is very good at playing "hide and go seek." Even though she's an 11 lb. cat, she managed to find a place in my closet where I could not find her. She just now came out. Probably a hint that I need to clean my closet, LOL.

my birman cat is taking a break from looking after her litter and joined me on the couch (her lil ones are sleeping, because she always does that when she knows they are ok, and runs back to them when they start calling her), my other 3 cats are outside...seems they prefer not to be here right now with little ones around...

Angel is napping through the rainstorm, happy to be inside. Misty and Lily are on edge, as they don't like thunder and lightning.

my boys our outside, enjoying themselves, mommy is with her lil ones in her den (cupboard) and my tortie girl is sulking here in my bedroom...she has a real issue with the lil ones here...shrug

Angel is on the porch tormenting some poor lizard. Lily is sitting atop some laundry I haven't put away yet. Misty is waiting for me to go to bed so she can sleep on top of her comfortable cushion (me).

KB got me up for breakfast, they have all eaten and the 3 boys are off already sleeping again, Squeaks is hanging out here with me....she lubs her mama....without the cat food in my hand!

The kitties are resting after a long day of helping mommy sort through her box of fabrics... they're very helpful with such matters.

It's the land of the sleepy kittehs here this morning.....sort of unusual, they are always ruinning around chasing each other after breakfast. Me, I'm enjoying the peace!

Love the icon! My daughter's cat Rupert is visiting but so far he has hidden himself under the sofa and refuses to come out. He doesn't like traveling very much, but it is better than being left home alone for ten days. I love having him here if he will decide that I am an acceptable person to be around.
