I don't call them tributes in that sense, peon. To tell you the truth, I tend not to use the term at all. Has clip given Me gifts? Yes, he has, even when I have scolding him for spending money on Me.

I've said it many times on these boards. My favorite of all time was something that cost him all of $3.00 or less.

Whenever I hear the word "tribute", I'm strangely reminded of ancient Roman triumphs, where war captives and plundered booty were displayed in a processional before the populace, guarded by muscular centurions wearing studded leather breastplates, and, erm, I'll just go have a lie-down now.

Read through the entire thing, so will try to respond as best as I can.

I came to this thread because it's an open forum, and I had an opinion. Several in fact, with varying degrees of right and wrongness in them.

Personally I feel that I have learned a lot more about kink/BDSM/the "scene" on this forum then I ever would in the popular media (TV, movies, porn, newspapers, etc) and I consider knowledge and education a very important thing. Mostly because nobody can take that away from you. So that is why I come on here in my spare time when I do not have other plans.

In my learning, I have quickly learned what type of Domme is not worth my time, energy, or devotion to serve. It all works out rather well actually if they don't want or consider me, because I sure as heck do not want their sort either. They might be nice enough girls, but I've not much interest in them at all. I prefer my Domme to care more about me then whatever trinket I get her, and it is nice that some of the Dommes here do have wonderful pets that they love and adore.

It's a beautiful Victorian day, sun is shining, breeze is light, and the sky is blue. Imma head to Camosun College. :)

Indeed, yes, Peon. It implies three butes. Then you've got your bibutes (these are butes that will swing either way), and your unibutes (the ones who stay at home alone, wanking). More than tributes and it just qualifies as a groupbute or an orgybute.

A quick google reveals that 'Bute' refers either to the island on the west coast of Scotland, or to a painkiller given to horses. So, properly to give a woman a tribute, I surmise that I should be giving her either three horse pills, or three cold, rainy islands.

Right: that's this debate about 'tributes' settled once and for all, then.
