Well I am done with this.

foaming at the mouth.

thats what you call it when someone demonstrates with facts and sources that what you are saying is wrong??

I guess the folks at home can sort that out themselves.

And from your link on Fox
"It’s not like Fox News needed to falsely make it look like there were big crowds – many came out for the book tour yesterday in Indiana. But another mistake like this just looks bad."

Where is the bias or bad intent, except in the Blog you get your opinions from?

I am still waiting for MM to explain why he pulled CNN from ther challenge in the middle, other than bias had been shown, and he had to in order to pretend he won his challenge...

Probably be waiting a long time.....

No, I call it foaming at the mouth when you start casting terms like liar, hypocrite and other derogatory terms around in what should be a civil discussion of disagreements. In fact, you can't even stop doing so in your post claiming to take the high road. I can also call it a lot of other things with complete accuracy but why bother?

It just seems to me that you might want to hold a station that you agree with to a higher standard of journalism than switching videos and presenting articles so biased that it is impossible not to notice. But hey, other news is biased so why bother, right?

2 wrong videos in ten years doesn't impress me. and there.

You told lies, so I called you on them. Sorry that upsets you.

There was no bias in the article you posted. It was clearly a short article about what the republicans in congress think and why. Thats what the headline, and sub head said, and the article fleshed it out. I don't see that as bias. If the article pretended to be an indepth investigation, adn it only had one view point, I would agree. But it clearly isn't.

but just so I understand your position...If I can find an article about what Obama thinks and why, and it doesn't present an equal opposition to what he thinks, that would be bias and unacceptable to you? Is that the standard you want to use? or are you a hypocriteon this issue also? I am not going to go look untill I get your answer, but I bet I can find lots of em.

No. Obama is the president. This is a solo office. If however, you were to find me an article in which democratic congressmen or senators were quoted on their side of an issue without at least one quote from a republican who is opposing that issue, I would find that a biased article and no, I would not approve of it.

If you can get over your hissy fit long enough to stop hurling insults and calling names, I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Hissy fit, yawn....

Every office is a solo office.... What does that even mean? He can do almost nothing with out the congress.

If your not interested in a fair comparison ok.

And yet again, its not an insult if you actually are lying, like saying Blair was "fired", which is what you demanded for some low level guy at fox.

There are 100 senators. There are over 350 congressmen (the exact number escapes me). There is one president. If you can't tell the difference between the president making a statement and a congressman making a statement, you really are as ridiculous as your postings make you sound.

Ok so kd sub says it is ok to print false stuff and then correct it. But if fox airs something incorrect and corrects it it is ba ba bad. Got it....

NYtimes has been a part of this "Media challenge" since the OP. But I am getting used to lefties changing terms in order to pretend they are winning....

No changing of terms. If you want to make your argument somewhat reasonable, please point out which of those corrections were made only after other media outlets reported on the errors.

But I am getting used to righties throwing more crap than a petulant chimp at the zoo and expecting people to take it seriously.

Spinner And just for the record, here is where you started throwing insults. I was discussing with KD, and you interjected with insults. Do you at least have the honesty to admit, you were wrong (or lying) about me starting it.

I responded to you in the manner you adressed me.

Gee...I didn't mention you by name. I just mentioned that some right wingers tend to do that and I'm getting used to it. If you recognized yourself, is that my fault? I'm not saying you meant me when you talked about "lefties changing the rules to pretend their winning". Sorry if I struck a nerve.

Hey, context spinner. Read what KD and I were talking about. He was trying to say that errors in the NYtimes, didn't matter, because there was no film. I pointed out that was changing the terms. Just like MM did, is he ever going to respond like he said? The weekend is pretty much over....

I wasn't even speaking to you, so I don't see how you could have felt slighted. You on the other hand spoke directly to me, with an insult. You show your character, yet again.

But hey who really cares, you are the one whining about snarks, not I. You sure throw em, but seem Unwilling? (thats a nice word, so I don't bruise your delicate mind) to own up.

See if I was making fun of your ill fitting suit, that would be an insult, but I won't do that.

Bias by omission - From Newsbusters:

quote:

ClimateGate Totally Ignored By TV News Outlets Except Fox

The Obama administration has another reason to hate Fox: it appears to be the only national television news outlet in America interested in the growing ClimateGate scandal.

Despite last Friday morning's bombshell that hacked e-mail messages from a British university suggested a conspiracy by some of the world's leading global warming alarmists -- many with direct ties to the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change -- to manipulate temperature data, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and NBC through Monday evening have completely ignored the subject.

LexisNexis searches indicate that NPR appears to also be part of this news boycott.

Newsbusters huh?

From the person who complains about any and every source that others post as being biased.

So let me ask, do you find any bias in this, from your link, where readers are invited to "take action"?

But those are not exactly comparable stories, therefore there is no Bias....duh!!!

Haven't you followed the thread....

By the way, how come MM never explained why he changed the terms in the middle, he did say he was going to give me a full explanation over the weekend, now its tuesday.....

Changing terms in the middle makes the study absolutly worthless....and biased....

Should be simple. Find a story that was broadcast by those channels before the Newsbusters story was released.

ad hominen, liberals be thy name.

Of course Newsbusters is biased, that isn't being disputed. What is being disputed is the bias of the mainstream news media, and Newsbusters is pointing out an interesting fact in that regard.

And obviously that isn't being disputed either..

Why would you search for a recent NPR story on LexisNexis instead of going to NPR's site?

Because MM has other things to do, his life not revolving around yours, and your name nowhere on his checks.

I haven't forgotten. You'll have plenty of time to ridicule it and mock it when I do.

Now you know where you stand in my list of priorities.

Apperantly, MM doesn't stand by his word either.

I will only ridicule it if it is ridiculous.....

It is however absolutly clear that there is no way to change the terms of the challenge in the middle, and be intellectually honest.

It is very apperant you took CNN (which is the most comparable to fox) out because 2 examples of heavy bias were shown, and you had no response, and you cheated in order to pretend you won your challenge.

It is also apperant that you have of time to keep reading and posting, and even replying to me, so I must be up there on your list of priorities....

But intellectual honesty seems pretty low on it.

I'm pretty past motivation by schoolyard taunts too.

I want to sit down for a few hours and lay out my thoughts.

They won't make you happy, but at least you'll know what you're criticizing.

whatever....

So you think changing the challenge in the middle is ok? That it is Intellectually Honest?

I am sure it would take you several hours to come up with a explanation as to why it isn't. But we both know your not going to give one.
