I maybe see this differently. I have moved over 40 times in my 40+ years on the planet, so dont have close friends etc. i learnt at a very young age, whats the point, we'll be moving again soon. It doesnt mean im not a social person, just that i know i'll prob move again soon.

The moving has been from birth, and if you never stay anywhere more than what seemed like 5 mins, all the way through childhood, you learn not to get close. I do have friends i speak to regularly, though none live close by, and some i havent seen for years. I was just pointing out that due to circumstances, some of us dont have a core of friends about.

Similar situation with me. There are lots of folks around this area that lived here all their lives, or within 1 state at most. Blows me away.

No fair...I don't get asked what I am wearing... At the moment just a nightgown. it is 5:30am CST. I am listening to the water run and its 14F. I am not taking the dog out in this outfit..where are my sweats?

The neighbors and us share a well from their property, free of charge. Just can't drink it or boil it for tea (and pasta), too rich in iron. The other day we thought they were frozen but the neighbor was working on them and forgot to warn us when we called him. Now...we have to run the washer soon to get the gunk out of the lines there. Iron-based clay is not a pretty sight. edited for typos

I've got to say that play for us is bondage and sex, no s & m. So I can't imagine driving two hours to the nearest dungeon to watch people get hurt while not doing anything ourselves. As far as having a myriad of friends, nope, I'm an introvert. I have a couple of them. Beyond that, he's been involved with the Boy Scouts for years. And that is not an organization that would allow any further interaction if it came out that he's into this.

Practical to be warm - and well understood. I put on a lighter sweatshirt- black- we warmed up- but now will freaze again until Monday- where temps in 30s return. I was thinking of washing my hair b4 if gets cold again. maybe premaking a salad- for later. I had pipes freeze and burst- and so it is touch and go. But not the worst ever. Some actually were t-shirts and crank the heat up. Sweats are good for this time of year.

You perv me...I am all woman, including all the fat..LOL! Seriously my doctor is giving me looks of disapproval for being overweight but then I am doing resistence training at Curves and it has been help me out muscle-wise.
