Status: offline 		Loki, some of us who have been through some experiences that fall into domestic abuse will feel much stronger about this type of thing than others. We could even be more excitable about it. I know I can and maybe I have shown that here on this thread. But don't you think that this is a bit of a trigger for you? I am not trying to use what you said as a tool here... but maybe, just maybe... there may be more to your argument here?

Absolutely. But at least I'm owning up to it. I simply can't stand the repeated 'old-school' rhetoric of women being able to hit men and it's "ok" but but but but...."men DON'T HIT women."

It's utterly assinine. Women want equality....but only when it suits them. I've been saying that for years. This thread is just one more example of it.

My post wasn't  directed towards anyone....just happen to fall where it fell....I wouldn't mind going to a dungeon think it would be great for people watching.   Think the majority of the people in "da clubs" be some fairly creepy ass folk.

Oh I know. I'm just chiming in in much the same spirit. I say what I say. Those who take offense do so of their own accord.

And I can second, third and forth your assertion about the creepy-ass people in 'da clubs.' Hell that's one of the many reasons I stopped going. In the words of Winston Zeddemore: "I have seen shit that'll turn you white!"

Hey, she called me a little pest, I'm entitled to defend myself....however I so choose. If she wanted it to remain above board, she took the wrong route from the get-go.

Unlike the post we've been debating, I never escalate things here. It's something my detractors never seem to notice. I'll happily tip-toe down to immature land if someone opens the door, but I let them open that door first.

I readily admit I can be an abrasive asshole. It's part of my charm. However, there's a vast diference between being abrasive and being childish enough to call people names. She wants to be childish and call me names, I will happily meet fire with fire.

Darlin' you wouldn't know the obvious if it was sitting on your face. If you don't want to be called names, don't call names. It's that simple. When you *do* choose to call names, don't cry because someone else called you on it with a name of their own.

She was talking about the severity of a punch compared to a slap. She called you a pest and you called her a gash. Perfect example of the severity of a situation and how it is met.
