The best thing we can do for you in the forums is to metaphorically slap ya upside the head. Have you been listening to too many wanna be Dominant's telling you "if you were a "true submissive you'ld kneel at my command"?

This should be no different than vanilla dating as far as using your common sense. You have a brain and your own will. You are no ones to use until YOU let them. Its always in your power to tell someone to take a flying leap off a short pier becuase they are not going to violate your limits. Your best respect is self respect. Use it, apply it and know that strong and submissive do and should go hand in hand.

Using fast reply......

I just wanted to add, in case my typical, to the point, method of communicating, came across wrong.

I was not trying to say it is "all your fault".

Ignore her.  But in this case she is wrong.  I don't know why she would would post such a thing.  Brain freeze?  I have also personally experienced "brain freeze" from eating too much pussy....Like trying to swallow a pound of ice cream...It fucks you up and you can think straight for awhile.

This is the best advice that you will receive. It is all your fault.  Accept it, learn from it and move forward.

You are acting a bit like a smoker that cannot fathom how they ended up battling lung cancer?  "It isn't fair," they say...Maybe not. But they sure did nothing to try and avoid it.

Every single rotten thing that has happened to me throughout this wonderful life has been a direct result of my own actions.  For the most part the blame lies directly at my own feet.

I really hate taking responsibility for my own actions.  It sucks.  It would be much more enjoyable if  I could rationalize away some things that have transpired by pushing them away and blaming them on others.

Get well. Identify your mistakes and heal yourself.  If you don't maybe you should seek out some sort of religious counseling...However, I am confident you will find the lone sadistic and abusive priest in all of Central Iowa.  You emit a scent like a  bleeding floundering fish in shark infested waters.

Right now you are easy prey.  Make yourself better.

Lat's from Iowa...It would be fun to see if she might be able to lend you a hand, fist or whip.

Unfortunately LaT will be busy.  We are learning the dance Between Patrick Swazey and Jennifer Grey at the end of dirty dancing.

As yet it is undecided who will play which roll.

taped - what did he say when you told him to fuck off - has he accepted it or does he think he still has his hooks in you.

if he does still think he has his hooks in you are you fully prepared and determined to cut him off and out of youre life.

youve said that he can get inside youre head and that he makes you laugh. two strong attractants.

i guess im just trying to check that you really are certain that you really arent going back there.

he said that he was going to ignore youre safe word, that he had a vendetta going and that he had changed the relationship. you said you were both talking it all through and you came back to say you were all happy and were humming a happy tune. you need to be really really strong and sure that this is really over.

Sweet.  Good luck in finding your next 'nilla abuser.  It is bound to happen.

It sucks when folks get involved in relationships just because they might feel that it is better than being alone.

I usually lean to the contrary.

Whatever.  You are probably doomed.

Never listen to this guy.

I fully agree with you, Christina.

But why?

the.dark.

Because one doesn't help the OP by suggesting that what happened to her, will happen over and over again to her.

Rather, like most posters do here, she needs advice and encouragement to avoid this happening again to her.

Actually, I think domiguy has a point.  She'll allow a flaming asshole to torture her, because she enjoys the way he fucks with her mind, but she is too frightened to meet someone like me for lunch.  She's not looking for friends, or support.  She's looking for a controller and a user.

Perhaps this post will annoy you, and you will mini-lecture me on how I could have phrased it in a more encouraging fashion.  The reality, though, is this: the women I play with would have done their best to chew my balls off if I ignored a "Red" in a scene with them.  There is one hell of a difference between being a sub and being a victim.  The OP needs to stop being a victim, before she can even start thinking about being a sub.

If you must return to pick up a few things, don't count on the friend alone to stop him from touching you.  Call the local sheriff's department and arrange a time when a deputy can be with you.  Been there and done that.  I have found it best to explain that you need to pick up things from an ex's house, things could get violent and you would like the escort.  Ask what time they can arrange for someone to meet you instead of trying to set your own time.  (They tend to be more cooperative this way versus telling them what time you need them there.)  Friends aren't always a deterrent, but the law is.

i for one do not try to pass myself off as Dr. Phil. i do not have a degree and i am not a therapist therefore, all i am qualified to do and all that i should be doing is wishing the Op well and hope for the best for her.

For those of you who have never made a bad mistake in a relationship or otherwise, please step aside so that us mere flawed mortals have more room to support each other.

Support?..... where were you when she was getting beaten well beyond her wanting?

It may not be nice and it may not be pretty, but it IS called tough love.

To huddle around her and absolve her of her own culpability in this is NOT doing her any favors

I was dumb a few years back. I went to someones house sight unseen. I was lucky that nothing happened that first time. But he ended up being bipolar and we were drinking alcohol (something I dont do with BDSM anymore) and our personalities didnt mix. Made for some excitement initially but he didnt like my "sass". After the 3rd time(the first and second was good) I was verbally abused and ended up being mocked as I sat in a corner crying. The 4th time(went back after an apology) I ended up with a swollen wrist.

This is embarassing to admit to but I learned a profound lesson from this experience. Hopefully, you can too. You just have to take your time and get to know people before you let them tie you up. Listen to the Red flags and dont play alone with strangers.

You're a silly girl, you have no impact upon my life. You will spew your nonsense no matter what.
