Not exactly, Thomsonx. Not a blood slut.

Oookay, so far I have only gotten one yes in my question for the day. I suppose that means abortion in the case of Human Parthenogenesis is supported.

What about the cases for those women who do not have intercourse, but participate in other sexual activites? They are, in fact, keeping their legs closed, so could they have an abortion without having to worry about being shot up in an abortion clinic by some reckless fanatic?

( And uh, guys? Since the playground and the plumbing are so close together, it is actually possible for a woman to get pregnant, from anal sex. >.> Who the hell designed us humans, anyway? )

It's more like a magnet, once the law of attraction points it in a certain way it would take a stronger counterforce to turn it away

That is just your pride talking...we all need advice but those who need it the most seem to head it the least.
Something as basic as turning to help someone who has stumbled has become wrapped up in I didn't nock him down why the fuck should I help him up.  We all live on this planet and the sickness of one affects the wellness of all.  Some of us act as if one sickness was worth medicating and others were really someone elses problem.  Is it that there are not enough doctors for everyone to be well?  If it is a shortage of doctors build more med, schools.  Who is it that is the governing body which decides who is an acredited med school.  (Mark, will I need parental consent or imput to teach medicine?)  It is the AMA, and why is the AMA against building and acredeting more med schools.  For fucks sake we certainly have enough sick people to keep more doctors busy...I mean now if you actually get your fifteen minutes with the doctor you are fucking lucky.  It is a design shortage.

We have a huge shortage of nurses and instead of increasing the number of nurses we go to other countries and bribe them away from the people who need them in their own countries.
They wont raise the pay of our domestic nursing staff but they will go to other countries with trained nursing staff that speak English and pay them more than they make there but less than a nurse is making here.

But then they are the mindless fucks who cling to the concept that medicine is a business and not a service.

How many mod warnings are needed before anyone takes heed?  Should we just lock it up and be done with it?

if I was Joseph, I would be asking some serious questions of that angel.

If I were Joseph I would simply look at the situation logically.
Me=old, homely guy who butchers wood for a living married to a totally hawt teenage babe who may have gotten frisky with the delivery boy...She is still sleeping in my bed every night and besides everyone will think I am a stud...still knockin' out boy children at my age...
looks like a pragmatic sanction to me.

Um... I presume you mean me?

The answer is simple:  Why would an adult need their parent's permission to either teach or lean medicine?

Of course I mean you...How many people named mark are on this forum who constantly prattle on about parents having control of thier childrens education.
I said nothing about adults.
As far as I know there is no minimum age for admission to med school.

None. But there is a guy named Marc who stands up for the rights of others not to have their private lives dictated to by authoritarian assholes who arrogantly presume that they are better qualified to make personal decision for others.

Yeah, right. The med schools are just jammed full of eight year olds.

You are being a dick on purpose and you know it.

I think that if they allow vasectomies, they will allow for tubal ligation.

Abortion is a very divisive issue... and very well could stand in the way of other health care reform.  I think that there are enough pro-choice groups out there that would help a woman who cannot afford to have an abortion.

I would rather see some form of health care available to everyone.  It's never going to be perfect for everyone.  To let this be what stops the overall good that can come from a health care bill would be sad.

I wrote my representative, a Democrat, a few weeks ago regarding this and was very annoyed with the form letter that came back.  I suggested some compromise in the middle.  Perhaps only fund first-term abortions or something.  Again, not everyone would be satisfied with that.  In fact most people would be upset with that for one reason or another.  (Either they would think more should be covered or think that it should not be covered at all), but it would be something.  And the greater good would be served.

That's just my thoughts.
