been in a situation recently that has got me wondering(not second guessing- just wondering)- are my rates for ProDomme sessions too high? i'm entering my 3rd year of the art of domination and for certain things, i charge a certain amount. feet- $75/hour, oral on me-$100, strap on- $150/hour, the list goes on, and for combinations of things i combine the prices and take like 15 dollars off. keeping that in mind, a wanna-be client told me that i was charging way too much and he kind find prettier girls for less(that made me laugh to be honest), and tried to hound/pressure me into dropping the price for strap on and to give me oral to 100 for both. so for those who have dabble in ProDomme(ones who are pro and ones who have gone to a pro) what do you think? was he just trying to get his fantasy off for cheap or am i being to pricey?

You're not charging enough for strapon training...Most pros out this way charge $200 to $250/hour...

i dont offer sex other than oral, and be advised, you dont know what i know in terms of the terms and conditions of prositution in maryland. i didnt ask that, so if had nothing worthwhile to say, find another forum to talk on.

Although I'm not a pro, I'm acquainted with one or two in the area. Here, the pros charge a flat rate per hour, rather than by activity. It's possible that by combining fees per activity, even with a discount, you're charging more than others in your local market. It's also possible you may need to consider reducing your rates in the current economy. One of the pros I know has had to do so in order to find new clients. As far as I know, how much you charge will depend a great deal on what your local market will bear. The one here is very limited, so pro dommes can't charge as much as someone in NYC or L.A.

I just did a search on Google for the price that prostitutes charge (that is what you are, by the way) for oral sex, and it is $20 to $50. So just because you call yourself a pro-domme probably doesn't justify the extra $50. Of course, that is the rate for performing oral sex on the client, not the other way round, so perhaps you should only be charging $5 to $15?

Can anybody else see that statement for what it is. No matter what state you're in, strap-on activity is penetration and is considered sex.

Finally, no Pro I know charges by activity. However, some prostitutes I'm fond (everyone of them I know) of do charge by the activity. It's one of the main differences between Pros and whores. Understand that I love sex workers because they're awesome. I don't think being a prostitute is a bad thing. I just wish you would be honest about who you are and what you're doing.

Pros charge by the hour. MsKitty charges $250/hr and refuses to lower Her rates. Any mention of sexual activity (sex of any kind) ends the session or session negotiation immediately because She's not willing to take the legal risk that results in a felony charge.

I'm just pointing out that I think the title of your thread is misleading because it is geared toward prostitutes not Pro Dommes.

To be clear, you offer two types of sex: oral and anal via strap-on. Most states define "sex" or "sexual activity" as any type of contact with genitals or anus, so unless the laws of Maryland are far more liberal than the rest of the country, you are a prostitute if you provide sexual services for gifts or financial compensation. If you choose to prostitute yourself, that's entirely up to you, but at least have the decency to own up to it. Don't think you can come here and berate those who are comfortable calling a spade a spade just because it hurts your feelings. It's not our fault you're a whore.
