I am curious to know, what people think about having the television on while playtime happens. The reason I'm asking is because the other day, an NBA playoff game was on while I was spanking someone. As I was enjoying paddling that hiney, the game became extremely interesting. It forced me to stop for a second, get a beer, chips, salsa, & a sandwich. I don't much like watching tv. I love to be tied up instead of watching. Makes for a great evening. Especialy if there is more to follow.

i think it depends on the relationship. if being ignored is something that's part of this particular Dom/sub's unique interest then i'd say it's fine. it seems that in this case it was not.

Not sure if it's a case of being addicted to the idiot box again, or just catching yourself up in a game b/c you had the darn thing on to start with... Really stop the play, a sports game is on... isnt' that what they invited TiVo and other programs for? SO you could play and watch the game later. I'd have been pretty ticked off. if We were in a serious relationship you'd owe me alot, if not, I"d probaby say good-bye off the bat, as soon as I'm untied, of course. How about untying me and making me watch with you, maybe fondling me instead while you watch the precious game? That prolly would have been a better direction to go... Then again, leave all distractions outside of the bedroom/Playroom!!!! Yes, that includes your phone.

I am a football freak. I would not even entertain the idea of play if a game was on or about to begin. It's one of my " hard limits ", more in a joking way, but my past doms have not had any issue with it. Of course they were football nuts too, so it worked out swimmingly ! In this case, I would be pissed and follow Holly out the door. If you want to watch the game, watch the game. Nothing wrong with that. But to start up with me, and leave me hanging cuz you " lost interest " cuz of a game. Ummm no. Nope that wouldn't sit well. mbmbn

I was joking around....But in reality lets say that the sub is tied up. I turn on the game. I watch the game and during commercials breaks or a paralyzed player being carted off the field I fuck around with you. You ain't really going to do shit. You might roll your eyes or intently wait for a commercial break or a bone chilling hit. Either way, when the game is over your ass is not going anywhere. Now, that's a fact Jack.

I like men who like sports, and I like them myself. And if there is a playoff game on, I can see where a guy can get distracted. I mean, it's the PLAYOFFS!! I kind of like what Domi had to say. To me that would be fun to be tied up and he played with me during the commercials. If it was someone who was hurt and being carried off the field, that would probably take my attention off the play though. Actually if it were a playoff game of a team I cared about, the meanest thing a Dom could do to me is blindfold me!! But in general I don't think the TV should be on during planned play/sex. I prefer music. But, sometimes a spontaneous scene could take place and the TV is already on. Then you may or may not get distracted by what's on the tube.
