  1. How empty of topics this board would be without the OP posting dozens of ill thought out questions or statements to it EACH and EVERY day..
  2. Why in the hell he would post these "questions" and i do use that term loosely, with absolutely no desire to learn from the answers provided.
  3. how the other posters in this thread have the restraint not to really let rip at him.
But honestly.  why would you even want to kneel to a slave in such a way? what does it prove? nothing.. it is merely an act, a ritual that only you feel the need for.. there are many many other ways that fall within every day dominance that you could do that would be equally as powerful if not more so than throwing your roles out of the window.

Seriously.. although reading and asking questions is never a bad thing to do,  the only way you are ever going to get the answers to your ideas is to engage in your VERY OWN D/s, M/s relationship.

I kneel once a year in front of Alandra and Kyra to wash their feet. Done on their Aniversary. Since I wasn't home with Alandra last wednesday... I will be doing it tonight. We are celebrating 20 years since Alandra and I took our vows.

Then there are times I kneel before them like last Saturday at a Play party in front of Kyra. She was in tears from the moment... *grin* and I assure you it was because of what I was doing which doesn't including the kneeling part!

Status: offline 		I haven't read beyond the first page but i can pretty much say if a Man who was my Master demanded he be ALLOWED to kneel before me in active submission, i doubt he would be my Master for long.  I am not submissive to men because i ALLOW them to be dominant.  They are who they are to me because of my reaction to them.   The scenerio of the OP would not work well in my situations because to me by needing to kneel before me puts way to much power in my hands and his actions of active submission to me, would have me losing the mastery he holds over me because he has shown me i have power over him AND the ability to manipulate him due to his expressing his love, respect ect in a submissive concept.   if he did it just to see if he could get me to accept him in a submissive position, then he would be an idiot.  I wouldn't care he was the MASTER, if he shows submission to me and more so wants me to accept such a concept from him, it would probably be the beginning of the end because i would be watching him for the switch concept and his trying to use his dominance over me to accept him eventually as a submissive to me.  EWW.  I couldn't live or remain with a Man who has made my life that unstable because i would always be wondering.  IF he does it with this concept, what's to stop him from integrating his submission to be as a "sign of his love"  again eww, in the rest of our relationship.   If the only way a Man can show his slave he loves her, cares about her, respects her is to KNEEL before her in submission when he is supposed to be the Master of the relationship, then to me that is a Man who is capable of being manipulated.

I would also look at him like he lost his mind because a Man who is a Master is capable of showing all the concepts the OP stated he wanted to use kneeling to symbolize his feelings towards me would make me wonder why he chose that particular concept instead of other concepts. 

The thing is many people are slaves for different reasons.  Some could deal with it, some would embrace it, some would get disgusted with it, and some would condemn him for it. 

My master knelt before me when i was a slave or was on his knees at times, but grins it wasn't in submission.  There were omg doit again times, there were times when he simply was exhausted or the weight of the world was on his shoulders and put his arms around my waist and rested his head in my lap (RESTED you pervs), there were times he was on the floor playing with the kids and he rested against my legs or put his head on my leg cause the boys wore him out lol.   but i never felt dominant over him or him submissive to me when he did this.

Socratesnot, how the hell do you KNOW what romanticizing something you have NEVER experienced is?  For YOU yeah i can see how you can't believe a concept you have never ecperienced.  I mean this is when your ignorance shows and its not the good ignorance -- its the duh i don't really have a clue what i am talking about because i have never experienced it but i am going to tell people that have experienced things what they really are doing.

Umm yeah there are MEN who project a concept of power and dominance and yes they are capable of compeling REACTIONS simply because of this.  Men don't HAVE to be tarzan to be a powerful alpha male who compels reactions of submission from people.  Grant it very few men are capable of such but believe me there are Men who are capable of such and no its not romanticizing.  Its the same concept of love at first site.  There is a projection from such men that literally does make you want to kneel before them. 

Until you actually experience it -- yeah i can see why you feel comfortable saying people are ROMANTICIZING same.   Because its easier when you haven't experienced it because then you don't feel left out of what others know.  You will be really freaked out if you knew my Master used to be able to convey to me many things simply by looking at me across a room, not saying a word or action.

Status: offline 		i haven't read the whole thread - just the beginning and the ending - and i know it's wandered a bit, but i'm going to just throw my post in here:

For me, if my Owner/Master wanted to kneel before me, it's simply what would happen. After all, it's what he wants to do, and it's deeply meaningful for him, right?

i find that as a slave it is an important skill to detach my own judgment from actions - it's his judgment that matters, not mine.

Really, slaves don't need to over-think what everything means so much - and just enjoy and be present for whatever it is their Masters want to do to, for, or with them. That's what builds the Bond of intimacy and trust - not judging every thing he wants.
