Thanks, this makes sense and clarifies it a bit. But this viewpoint is missing the nuances of the issue..it makes the man not just come across like a player (as the OP hinted) but also as a bit unethical, as it's hard to imagine his past subs being happy with their picture placed in demeaning positions on the internet for all his future prospects to see. Also it seems to be a bit disingenuous- why cater to what you *think* women want, when you could be honestly expressing the best parts of yourself.

Yes- I don't consciously demand genuine-ness, I just don't have the patience for anything else. Guys don't like that, lol. I've often found some really strange and negative reactions tend to happen with the wrong people when you push past their games.

As the mods have stated, numerous times over the years I've been posting, everyone is allowed to post anywhere.

There are non-Goreans in the Gor section, masters in the ask a sub section, monogamous people in the poly section. I, personally, like it that way. Sometimes it's an undesired but different viewpoint that provides the most informative answer and it's easy to skim over the responses you aren't interested in reading.

Some people are just players, and not in the mind-game sense. In my locality most of the BDSM "scene" is focused on S&M and "playing." Most people aren't looking for that deep connection. It seems like BDSM is a sport or a social activity. It is a huge assumption that the women in these pics are "past subs" and not some one that he just happened to tieup/cane/flog/whip/fuck that night. If we don't limit the frame of the discussion to only people looking for deep D/s relationships, this behavior makes more sense. If you ONLY look at doms who are seeking a deep connection and a lasting relationship and say so up front, I would suggest that this doesn't occur regularly.

As to why a dom would contact some one who isn't compatible... I'm sure that has been discussed to exhaustion.

I am glad that someone brought this up. It is just one in a long list of annoying things men put in their profiles.

It is amazing how little finesse these guys show and the lack of insight into a woman.

I don't care how gorgeous and brilliant the guy is; if there is any other women in the photos, I am completely turned off.

I don't need to see "evidence" of experience. And who knows if it means that, either. It could be a friend posing for them.

It has to be one of the most feeble attempts to interest a woman.
