This is the 28'th page! LOL

I'm not sure where it was, but as I said earlier, much before two or three posts ago, or even two or three pages ago.

It's been a drawn out affair.

(after posting, I see that it's now the 29'th page)

PS

As long as you understand that none of the 'objectionable' stuff was intended towards yourself

I don't mind in the slightest if it was or wasn't. All I'm after is a simple answer to a very simple question.

As it is this is starting to resemble "Strictly Come Dancing" ... stop jigging about and answer the question, there's a good chap

Some may wonder why some of us got involved in this thread about the TSA, especially when we don't live in that country, the reason for myself geting involved is I know to fight it there helps stop it coming over here, as if the American's sublimely accept the intrusions on their privacy, our wanker establishment will implement similar here, and we do not have a constitution to hide behind.

Besides that, I rail at injustice wherever I see it.

Having come thru Scotland to England in the early 70's on my way to St. Catharines house, I was in the service at the time,  to look up my ancestors, I can tell you that your police are or were very intrusive.

I once left my bag to go get a beer at Boston Logan Airport in the mid 70's it was 100 feet away, and when I came back a fuckin bobbie that was riding with the plane started giving me 'ell.  I told him inasmuch as 'e was a visitor and I was a native, he could stuff it up his arse.

Well, I suppose the internet has made us a global community, as before the internet, I had not really talked with Americans and prior too, they were just the types one saw at various UK tourist spots, middle ages dressed in their checked suits and flat caps making inane noises about royalty and clicking cameras. I see by the internet, you are just the same as us and those tourists might be ones you were perhaps happy to let travel elsewhere.

Also I am finding, what concerns America is worth noting, for it usually ends up concerning this little country as our establishment watches you closely and what works they tend to take on board and what not, they don't even thank you for your education.

That being, America is seen by many to be the great experiment, if the people are successful in running their own country the once kingdoms have everything to fear.

No, blathering and bluster won't help matters. I've quoted you your own quote, in its entirety, twice now. Here, I'll be a sport and do it a third time, just to save you the mouse-clicking ...

Not to say that watching all these self-professed "Dommes" and "Doms" going so instantly face-down, ass-up on this one did not provide the greatest amusement, forget the exposure as fakes, but I wish I could ...”.

Now, would you like to stand by that quote you made, or would you like to offer an apology? Or possibly expound upon it further, although I reserve the right to snigger a bit if that's the case.

You may now turn over your paper and begin.

Yeah that's Brit plod, to a tee. The problem is we don't have rights under a Constitution for what we can have, and what protections we enjoy, they have "rules" under the Laws Of Evidence (Police & Criminal Evidence Act, a.k.a. "PACE"), and as we all know policemen like to "bend" rules.

And London’s Met Police “Service” (they dropped the “Force” as it was deemed to be too aggressive, I kid you not) are the worst of the lot. You name a rule, they’ll “bend” it like a slinky.

Explain what?

That I disagree without apology for this TSA (not the workers, the upper management) comedy?

That those who have been yapping and ankle biting those trying to explain the situation in even and logical and empirical terms don't have use for any of that?

I just called them out for what they are.

That's the only explanation I have, which is more than any explanation they are capable of.

Let's take this where it should go then, and ask -them- for the explanation, which adolescent lobs being the closest they've come to it thus far.

Nicely put!   I agree completely.

Those Americans who travel abroad are NOT reflective of those who live here- but a segment- generally loud mouth and boorish.
Some who do travel LIE about not being from here... as to flow better.

The country has a number of metros where the outspoken tend to live- but there are MANY many rural areas, small towns, and just about any type of environment... with down home folks.

The typical man in the street is of interest....

Yes, I am hearing disgusting things about actions of the Met in the recent incidents in London, things like crowd charging with horses, pregnant woman squashed up against a wall by one, the infamous kettling of protesters and even a suggestion that the van left in the street was bait, something to do with the fact it was an older problematic model and some suggestion it didn't even have number plates, which would of course meant the Met had broke the law by using an illegal vehicle on the Queen's highway. But I see the use of providing an attraction of anger as it takes attention away from elesewhere and also at the same time creates political imagery which can be used for whatever purposes the establishment or the plebians wish.

As I've already told you (politely, several times), blathering, bluster and misdirection won't work. I'll ask one more time; kindly explain what you meant by “Not to say that watching all these self-professed "Dommes" and "Doms" going so instantly face-down, ass-up on this one did not provide the greatest amusement, forget the exposure as fakes, but I wish I could ...” or I'll assume my original interpretation, which is that you're prone to running off at the mouth and spouting complete cobblers from time to time*, was correct.

You can either explain or apologise, as a gentleman should. I've said sorry myself on many occasions and it's good for the soul, honestly. So come on now, 'fess up.

*please note that just because a person says one thing that's manifestly bollocks it doesn’t mean that their entire output can be ignored. I'm merely asking you to act like a mature, polite adult. I'm not looking to crucify you, I would merely like you to stop ducking what I believe was a rather nasty slur, and apologise for it.

I think that people get too serious on here, as in all forums.

We do not have the advantage of voice inflection, as we would in real life.

I am so dependent upon that, and I am lost more than others without that in this scenario.

Fans of the "I was only kidding" defence will be delighted to note this text-book adoption of it. Classic in its simplicity, the IWOK defence is sometimes augmented by the "It's not my fault you don't have a sense of humour!" exclamation to provide a deadly left/right combo.

It's a genuine pity we can't hook you up to some form of turbine.

The amount of twisting you're doing could cheerfully power a mid-sized town
