I hate airports. I hate the people who work at airports. I hate that children are now being forced to have those damn searches...

At least in that one boy HAD to take off his shirt, and a little girl was basically man handled because they just HAD to touch her. It makes me sick.

They're children for crying out loud, at least give them a couple pats and let them on their way. You don't have to search every possible area on them in order to tell if they are carrying a sodden weapon/bomb.

....I mean honestly. This is driving me mad!

(In all honesty, I hope those children are alright, and sue the bastards that may have harmed them.)

The dems should ask themselves, What if these searches were allowed during the Bush years ? I guess this one is on Obama.

The Dems should ask themselves why Arizona's law was so horrible but the TSA rules are just hunky-dory.

I agree with you to a certain extent and because of the dehumanising process at airports now, I am really not that interested in flying anywhere again. Sad, but I believe a lot of others feel the same, including Ryan Air boss Michael O'Leary in his recent television interview on the 1st of November in response to the printer cartridge incidents on commercial aircraft ;

I don't know about that, as I pretty much came to this opinion based on articles I read online and reading those comment section things they have. Granted, those do not give political party. But I thought that I had seen a poll or two.

Are you serious? I'm a fucking democrat and no way do I find any of this acceptable. It's like the Bush regime of wire tapping and all the other bullshit that the right wing created to "make us safe." Fuck that. Liberals and Progressives will NOT tolerate this bullshit. None if that "if you have nothing to hide than why argue" nonsense. Know your goddamn rights and contact the ACLU if you don't. Unlawful search and seizure.....I know I am ranting but when we stop defending out own rights we are fucked.

Except it is not the airlines making these rules. It is a federal agency.

Because we have farmed out so much of the legislative responsibility to agencies that are not accountable to the public. EPA, FDA, TSA, the list goes on. Mostly by presidential executive order which is nearly impossible to overturn.
