It's not needed anyway because, as Red mentioned, if somebody is going over the line, you'll have notes in your own mail from other forum users who are seeing the same thing that you do.

Do people really do that, that often? I am not surprised, but since I don't get that sort of email, I would be surprised that it happens with any frequency. And I think I've only written someone about forums a time or two. Once to you, I believe.

Of course there is always the off chance that I am the one they are pissing and whining about!

i've only had that happen once, after a certain imbecile "pretty boy" made a snarky remark about my dead M. DarkSteven wrote me a nice message, but other wise, no, people don't seem to be seeing the same things half the time, so i don't think they're writing each other about it all that often either.

I've had it happen a few times.  Not lots, but enough to know it happens.  I'm always suspicious of the people who claim that "lots" of people agree with them in email.  When I see that, I know it for the BS it is.  More often, someone will comment on something I've said and we'll start a discussion in private messages that moves away from the original thread topic.

It might happen really often... especially if you have many accounts... especially if some of these accounts are accounts for complaints.
... just speculating

Is it just me who finds it ironic that the "Moderation" thread seems to be one of the most heavily moderated (by necessity) threads we've come across in awhile?

Maybe I need more coffee...

How do you know this thread is heavily moderated?...
are you *in the know*?
are you one of them?

i have not seen any post disappear while i was on here...
and so far all my posts have been [approved] ...
though you can only take my word for that

Not into casual sex and no matter what you think of your "skills", it's still casual to me.

Maybe if I get really desperate I wouldn't mind coming off of $5 for a fuck and suck but till then, I'll have to decline.

How's that?

It is my personal choice not to post, because I know there are those that know who I am, and I never want there to be the appearance of impropriety since I am the supervisor of  the whole site. That is not a site directive, that is my personal choice. Some of the moderators may or may not have user accounts that post on the boards, some do not.

I respect this very much.... not that it matters how I feel...lol

But it DOES matter how "you" (and the others as a majority) feel....that is why I do it, and thank you for saying that. It does mean however, that at times I HAVE to say a personal comment as Alpha or bust! That is why at times, unlike others, I get personal........( after all, I do miss posting at times yanno, it was sometimes my most enjoyable entertainment  activity<weg>)

You folks do a fair job moderating period. And you're right in saying ity's none of anyone's business if you have an identity for posts... Everyone gets a life. All I would want to know is that really your torso in your avatar picture.

20 years ago it would have been spot on...there is somewhere on these boards that show part that, unfortunately, have proved that gravity is a bigger bitch than I. But then, yes.

Actually I did. That's where I was outted. It's a shame you missed it.

Edit: It's also why I don't post over there either anymore. Because, there, I would never want my personal words to somehow be taken as speaking for this site....

Lol, I am not of the inclination to have sock puppets or hide who I am, those that DO know who I am know that by my past posts as a user here. As to those that attempt to hide under alternate user nicks when banned or not under authorization to post without moderation, I feel that my position, (and in this case the site's also) is pretty obvious based on what happens to the nicks that we find are guilty of just that.

if i was a moderator here i would not post here either
i would not want to know anybody personally either
i would only cut out illegal things
i would want the softwear to allow for leaving the post number and username and a comment on why a post was cut
i would let all the bickering stand for its entertainment value

i would not bestow nicknames on users without their consent
i would like every user contributing to the boards to show up with their sex and orientation just above their avatar.
i would not allow two avatars the same to be used for different people
i can probably think of much more

it seems you were outted on an other site because you talked about it?
i am not sorry i missed it...
all you have to do is deny it...
pixels on a screen...
how is anybody ever going to prove anything???

Oh yes...
I would certainly not put users like myself on [awaiting approval] indefinitely

There is softwear you can get that changes your IP
sock puppets are the same people on a different account it simply means a clean slate for some, shake off some stalkers for others... i don't mind
maybe you should losen up, get the softwear and start posting again, if you liked it so and miss it, why deny yourself... because of some *cyber* morality?

Why would anybody actually know who you are unless you tell them?
and then why would anybody actually believe you?

listen to this:

Ok folks i can't stand it any longer... i admit... I AM VAA
i tried to fool you all by banning my alter ego ranja... who threatened to out me...
but i can't do it any more... all that [awaiting approval] is driving me mad
so now you all know

PS I own the site aswell
