I don't have it written into my profile because I'm not really a big fan of making YOU MUST statements up front, but I'm quite insistent that potential slaves have some source of income, for two reasons. For one, it strikes me as a power dynamic if I go out and work every day and she sits at home doing whatever it is she pleases. I don't want kids (no, really) and I'm not a huge fan of clean so someone who didn't work would just be chilling while I do the work. Who is serving whom in that scenario? Unless she's an heiress or something she'd best be doing something productive with her time. That said, I wouldn't be all that big a fan of a slave who worked long hours and came home exhausted, by the same token, because how much service could I reasonably expect from someone who worked 70 hour weeks? In short, I do have rather specific demands on a potential slave's employment status, just as do dommes. I can't say for certain if this holds true across the board, since I think a lot of people revert to traditionalism in femsub relationships as it provides a familiar framework on which to build a patriarchal relationship, but I doubt I'm alone over here. I will say this as to the difference - it seems like dommes are much more willing to put hard requirements into their profiles than doms. I read a profile not 2 days ago that had upwards of 5 pages of requirements and probing questions right off the bat. I suspect this springs from their being inundated by potentials and wanting to be efficient. I don't spend a great deal of time reading either gender's profiles - mostly it's just people from the forums that I click through to check ASLO out of curiosity - but that is my impression. I imagine that's what you're seeing - since you never interact with doms long enough to know whether or not we have similar requirements you make assumptions based on profiles which are not really valid.
