My first D/s relationship...

I met the man on alt, though he's here as well. I was...19, I think? He was 32. He told me he was separated from his wife and working on a divorce (ha! how many times have we heard that?) Being 19 and wanting desperately to please as a sub, I believed him. We went out a few times, he pushed me pretty hard, pretty fast. On our second date, he took a picture of me in a new top and collar he'd purchased for me, saying he wanted a picture to look at when we were apart. He told me later that his (not yet) ex-wife saw it (he showed it to her, truth be told) and said I wasn't pretty enough for him. On our third date, he took me to a concert at a county fair and got us kicked out because he was trying to finger me in the stands. I was understandable (or so I think) shaken and distraught. What was his solution for taking my mind off it? Forcing me to give him a blowjob in his van before we headed our separate ways. When it came out that he was actually not only still married, but still living with his wife (who still wanted to try to work things out), I was quite upset and told him I didn't want to have any further sexual contact until the marriage situation was resolved. He was furious and thought I was horribly unreasonable. I don't honestly remember what the final straw was, but I broke it off, which was long over-due. About 9-10 months later, he called me on my birthday, for the supposed purpose of saying, 'Happy Birthday,' but for the actual purpose of telling me how he had a new sub, a GOOD little girl. She was only 18. Her family had threatened to disown her if she moved in with him, but she did it anyway because she was a GOOD girl and a WORTHY sub, unlike myself.

I married a man that I should have never even given the time of day to simply because he was so un-dominant...a response to my flight from the bad relationship. I left D/s for many years. I was convinced that, while I wanted to be a sub and felt like a sub, I simply wasn't good enough to be one, that I wasn't worthy of a Master/dominant. It took a number of years for me to realize how horribly unfulfilled I was in my marriage and what a mistake it was. I started r/p'ing in Gor again and made several dominant friends, good men that talked with me and teased this story out, and over time convinced me that I could not continue to take full blame for the failure of the relationship, that it wasn't my unworthiness as a sub that was at fault.

I have pretty strong personal ethics, and to have been sleeping with a married man violated them strongly. He had put me under the impression that the separation was long-term and the divorce would be finalized soon. For violating me in that way alone, I could never forgive him.

He's actually messaged me here, having noted a little blurb in my profile about my past, and was very angry, claiming I misunderstood everything and that he never lied to me.

Although I have plenty of life stories and my life has had a lot of negativity in it, no horror stories here. Not even really bad stories. Although I can relate to many of the stories and experiences that others have posted in one way or another, especially in the ones where we (a generic we) really did not know ourselves or those we were involved with.

In some cases, as hard as it is to admit, I've even been the "bad guy" in some of those stories; Acted like a sociopath, etc. I've lied, cheated, stolen, humiliated, degraded, and just plain hurt people in my life, including myself, that I wish I had not.

My horror story?

My ex.

The good part: the best sex on the planet, brought every fantasy I ever had to life and went further than I could ever imagine.

The horror part: the fact that we had nothing else in common, he was a liar, cheater, selfish to point of being a sociopath.

The bigger horror: that I kept staying with him and giving him "one more chance".

Yup, that is the worst horror story when you are more angry at yourself than the other person.

My horror stories are not really BDSM specific, I'm sure plenty of vanilla chicks have the same. When I was young, and stupider than I am presently, I use to make unwise choices in boyfriends, most were emotionally or psychologically abusive, one was physically abusive. I became so warped in my perception of how a relationship should be, that when nice guys did show interest, I always found something 'wrong'.
I've long since passed those issues, the baggage got left behind a few train stations ago, but I think most people go through some sort of learning curve like that in one or more aspects of their life.

When I look back the only 'horrifying' part of it all was knowing how much I hated myself at one point, and how close I came to acting on that hate.

One time this guy wanted to play with me (someone I had already known and played with). He asked that I have a butt plug in when I showed up. So I drove for at least a half hour to get to his house. My horror story is not bdsm related - but a horror none the less.

To make a long story short - I left the day I found myself flat on my back with a knee in my stomach, his left hand around my throat, and his right hand raised in a fist aimed at my face. I took the kitten with me as I didn't think it would survive without my protection. That was in 1987, and I still get the shakes any time I see someone who resembles him.

My father was dying from heart problems and had 3 strokes the year i met him, and my mother was busy taking care of him and everything else... which she couldnt handle because they had a typical 50s relationship

My mom really didnt know her children existed during that time... and i dont fault her, I decided to get into a relationship with someone and run away from everything around me...

My only horror story is my ex and that was completely vanilla. Google Narcissistic personality disorder. I lived with that for 8 years. Ugh!

My worst story is fairly mild. I agreed to meet a Dom for coffee. He was so ugly (I mean...DAMN...the dude was UG-LLLLLLY) that i was praying no one i knew saw me with him. I was going to be polite, then excuse myself to the ladies room and BEG a bud to call my cell with an "emergency".
That didn't happen. At one point he smiled and, i swear, he had teeth (a few) that looked like they were covered with sandpaper.
I excused myself to the Ladies and beat feet through the kitchen door.

My First and only M/s relationship ended when he wanted me to have sexual relations with hiv positive people so i would catch it... he also was having unprotected sexual relations with hiv positive women in hopes that he could infect me through himself if i didnt get it through others... so I would never be worthy of any other man...
He also thought breaking a dish because of tripping, warranted 3 broken ribs and 40 stitches...

my limits didnt matter, and things he promised he would abide by when we started the relationship, he suddenly changed and were fair game...such as making me fuck multiple people for his enjoyment...inviting other submissives into the relationship... and so forth...

All in all that relationship ended with me having over 400 stitches in the 2 years i served him, a dislocated shoulder on 6 occasions, broken ribs on at least 4, and multiple fractures to my hip bone and wrists...

My horror story happened when I was still fairly new to BDSM. I had met and dated a guy for a couple of months, when he suggusted we meet at a motel for play. Everything went well until he was finished. He got up and left. I was so out of it from playing that I didn't even know he'd gone and still have no idea how I got home (and I had to take a toll bridge to get home). The next week I found out that not only was he married but his wife was furious that he was cheating. Lesson learned.

I was gently torturing a friend's breasts (call her F) while her boytoy was mining between her legs. My sub was on the sideline occasionally patting her or reminding her she can call yellow or red and occasionally trying to slap/pat or otherwise help.
