SUB DROP
It was this Masters youngest slaves 25th Birthday yesterday, Master gave her a Dungeon session that was very heavy, the plan was to then take her into Covent Garden and wine and Dine, that night, she slept, she slept, she slept , and kept sleeping after the session.
Indeed it was a good session, with the experience of many years this Master should have realized that to go out on the town after such a session was a NO, NO, but that is a man’s failure, often to anticipate future events with a woman, all she wanted was to sleep in safe arms, Master accommodated her this way, for a few hours, then got bored, also there was many things that had been neglected, so Master departed the bed, and with brain engaged got on with urgent matters that were pending.
The clock hands turned swiftly, she was rejoined by Master and slept , it was some 10.00am , this Friday morning, she woke and looked at Master with big saucer eyes, a joy to behold , she was fresh and alive, Master lay in bed with laptop in hand and attended matters, she as a slave did as she should, Master’s tea, she was granted her own, and with Masters permission rejoined him in bed, with Masters permission she took up her own laptop and ipad conjoined, the bed looked like a Bankers office, but the girl still needed rest, Master observed her, still sore and marked and red from the heavy session.
Master told his sweet one, that we must leave the City soon, back to the second City of our Land, the disappointment in her eyes , stabbed this very Master in his heart, her sparkling eyes went dead, she said nothing. She went quite and almost sulky, yet this girl does not often sulk, it was Friday so Master thought to himself, what the heck, leaving the bed walked to the window, there Tower Bridge stood proud, the hustle and bustle, of traffic and people, Master thought if he could extend this little ones treat maybe another day, swiftly picking up the telephone, with another day confirmed, Master rejoined his sweet slave , looked deep into her eyes and said, “what was planned last night, precious one, will happen tonight,” “we are staying here in the City, one more day” this will be a vanilla day, it was as if, this Master had turned on the electric, her eyes were once again wide open , sparkling and happy, at the same time , the little computer printer was going wild, papers were printing, as Master stood at the window contemplating possibilities to extend the treat, she had sent this message to Master to read, a Message for Master by way as a Master to subs and slaves just like her.

Remember the last time you played with that delightful Master and the scene was so great that you floated for three whole days. Nothing in the world could have bothered you and life was just dandy. Your boss at work could not have been happier with your output and you even went and volunteered at the hospital once. Okay, okay, I admit I was getting carried away. Anyway, the point is that I am sure you remember that special few days after your last beating or paddling. Then suddenly your whole world came crashing down around you. Yes, it crashed and you felt as if you could easily jump off that bridge outside your apartment.
I bet you that you did not know what caused this? I do though. Listen up and learn from me oh ye of good faith. It is called sub drop. Sound familiar yet? I certainly hope so or else I should come and join your community, as you guys seem to have found a magic cure to sub drop.
Sub drop is chemical as well as emotional. Your body was pumped up with adrenalin and endorphins and the high lasted for quite some time. When it readjusts, it causes you to crash. It is much like the high of intoxication actually. That hangover really sucks doesn't it? Well, take heart for there are things you can do to fix this and they are small insignificant steps to feeling better too.
You need to make sure that you stay in contact with the Master you played with, even if it is only a few phone calls after the scene. This is an important part of after care in my opinion. That contact will make you feel less alone and frightened, because this sudden change in mood can be quite frightening. That Master or dominant could even come around when you hit the low to just hold you if at all possible. You could just continue playing though, but hey that is the fantasy isn't it? Call the Master or dominant and ask for contact if you need it and you are close enough.
You can also do the self-pampering thing. Buy some chocolate or your favorite candy and indulge. Fill up a bath with soapy bubbles and spoil yourself with your favorite CD while taking that long soak. This has always helped me too. There is nothing like telling yourself how special you are. Curl up on the couch or on your bed and read your favorite author. Don't do anything else, even if the house needs cleaning. This is time you need to give yourself.
Go see your family and spend some time hugging them and showing them how much you love them. If you do not have the energy let them show you how much they love you by demanding hugs from each of them. Stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself how beautiful and special you are. Do this twenty times if you have to.
The next day you will feel fine. A little love goes a long way. Just to illustrate how powerful that human contact is, since living with my Master / dominant I have not experienced sub drop once. The constant interaction has prevented my body and hormones to lash out at me that way. Hopefully you will have that some day. If this isn't possible, you at least have some coping tips now that will help you survive the aftermath of kink.
The moral of the story is hug me love me stay close to me, be with me.

This Master identifies this as quite a serious problem for a sub or slave, many of us dominants and Master do not realize how low we can make our sub missives truly feel, thus this Master thought the topic was worthy of a TOPIC.
