Obummer was simply enforcing a law already on the books. Read 922 of the U.S. Code. The Gun Control Act of 1968 expressly prohibits non-licensed vendors from selling to individuals who they have "reason to believe" are from out of state. I have a college friend who defended a guy who got caught up in this operation. He was clearly seen selling at a flea market to ATF agents who repeatedly mentioned they were from out of state. That is the law. Just as "medical marijuana" in the states is also 100% illegal in every state in the country even if the residents think voting it in says otherwise. I like sawed-off shotguns and weed, but I don't expect Obummer to share my views.
