Well hey, thank you folks, with only one notable exception, you all brought intelligence and quick thinking to the thread. Thanks for being (mostly) tolerant of me and giving me other views to think on. May we meet again and my the deebate be as lively, I have to get to what passes for work these days, after I close out my other thread. Take care A/all

*CHUCKLES* Hey Moon, show me a politician, or tv political commenter who doesn't. Maybe we oughta to throw out the one's who WANT the office and DRAFT someone competentb lol

I'd go along with the draft thing, but there's been a worrying tendency in politics for quite a while now for any politician who doesn't want to resort to those sorts of tactics and namecalling to get dismissed as a wimp, hasn't there?

You would ...My daughters are fine upstanding citizens who love their father very much...And if you were to call me a lair in a public setting you could get an ear full even if true. Family love is not always logical and should be understood for what it is. Nothing sinister or evil or low life... just a son defending his father with blind love....get over it.

Do I understand your post correctly, you feel it is ok to threaten to physically attack someone for telling the truth?

PS, so you normally have one of the people running for PM have their child say something whimsical like this about the sitting PM?

DYB....... I saw the interview, I dont know if you did. My post was just my take on it, as seen on TV.

BTW, when Gordon Brown put his Premiership up before the electorate, everyone wanted to slap him.

Could have been because he was Scottish, more likely because he was a twat.

Tried to watch the debates. They might as well have sounded like this:

This is my interpretation as well, because I sure as hell did not know what was going on!

I'm sorry, but I can't resist: Do you mean melanin?

For much of American history, the melanin content of one's skin had a not insignificant impact on how she or he was treated. We've come a long way, but I'm not sure that has entirely ended even today.

First off I did not start this because any racial issue!!!!!!

Now that this is cleared up i thought that Tagg was someone much younger when I found out he was 42 I laughed so hard!

This is only about the actions of a grown boy he is not a man speaking in that manner! when your father is trying to be place as our next President
he shoulc had put some tape in his mouth, it made Romey look so bad as a candidate!

For shame on that boy, I want no one to place race in my thread , I never thought of it when I was writing it!

So no one say this is about race, he is (tagg) a fool speaking like that on a radio talk show, Rommey << how do you spell his name?
Oh yes Romey has rasied a a monsterl jut think of what if he (Romey) won and wow the abuse his son would have as the son of our
next President would have?

It will be a nightmare, I say this because , his father is not even elected but he is already acting as if he can get away with anything!!

Just another thought!

Best regards,

Mons

Taggart is a birther.....which puts him in the racial antagonist side of the divide.

If he(a senior Mitt-adviser) had never challenged the President to show his birth certificate(after it had already been published)......his racial problems wouldn`t be part of any conversation, including this one.

Tagg Romney Apologizes to Obama

My favorite part of the article was the ending:

A source close to the Romney campaign reports that Tagg's younger brother Josh, 37, notes that he has, in fact, taken punches from Tagg - and that the president has nothing to worry about.

I could totally hear one of my brothers saying that!

Maybe not even that good. I've had some girls in the gym way back when who could hit pretty damn hard LOL.
