BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/13/2012 4:21:46 PM)

I recall a story concerning Metatron.

quote:

In Rabbinic tradition, (Metatron) is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe. ... entered Paradise and saw Metatron sitting down (an action that is not done in the presence of God). Elishah ben Abuyah therefore looked to Metatron as a deity and said heretically: "There are indeed two powers in Heaven!" The rabbis explain that Metatron was allowed to sit because of his function as the Heavenly Scribe, writing down the deeds of Israel ... the Talmud states, it was proved to Elisha that Metatron could not be a second deity by the fact that Metatron received 60 'strokes with fiery rods' to demonstrate that Metatron was not a god, but an angel, and could be punished.

This conflict with Iran goes back for some time. I think people seem to think that it dates only back to the Bush II administration. Like I said earlier the modern world is corrosive. This suggests that the United States is not the cause. Perhaps they object to Mexican radio. Perhaps Mexico will be next on their list. If it is not one thing it is going to be something else. With nuclear power Iran appears like it wants to cherry pick. This is the dangerous technology of the modern world of choice, less dangerous than feminism.

Are they wrong?

Iran is getting her ass kicked in Syria.

A ... pragmatist.

Lucifer seduces intellectuals. Be reasonable he says. Accept the bribe.

Wow! That was unbelievably effective! :)

(For those who know how to read).

Ask a Roman Catholic priest and He will tell you that how you do it. Recall Yoda and the things He told Luke Skywalker. I know the later example is fictional of course.

How to combat evil 101. Yes, the devil will mock you.

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/13/2012 6:06:11 PM)

Remember the words of the devil will be a half truth. Half of it will be false and is intend to lead you to your ruin whereas the other half will be true. Do not rely on the devil, however, to tell you the truth. You must know what is true and what is false in advance. In other words, do not be too quick to rebuke the devil. By doing so prematurely, he may cause you to deny the truth.

Remember also that though God said to the whore Sin no more, God was merciful to the whore.

tazzygirl -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/13/2012 6:46:55 PM)

Yes.. "God".. much like one political party, is telling you that another, much like another political party, will lie to you or tell you half truths.

Got that everyone?

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/13/2012 7:13:00 PM)

She was not a whore. What I wrote could be construed to mean that she was. I was simply emphasizing the importance of keeping your eye on God and not hatred of the devil.

That does seem to be what most of this crap about Iran's nuclear programme boils down to, doesn't it?

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 11:43:25 AM)

Why do we have an antichrist in the White House? The reason is plain. What the Democrats have been saying is half true. The Republicans rebuke everything. This has created a vulnerability for the devil to exploit. You can't just look to the Democrats and say you are in league with the devil. The Republicans should think of themselves as 51% good. Just enough to tip the scale and no more.

mnottertail -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 11:44:36 AM)

The antichrist wears magic underpants.

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 11:56:15 AM)

If Obama was a man of peace, he wouldn't have gone for the max. He would have been sensitive. He is not fair and balanced just like FOX news isn't fair and balanced.

You think like a Republican.

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 12:40:21 PM)

How did we get into this mess? As Lucifer would point out it is because you are as dumb as dog shit. It is the Protestants who decided to rebuke everything not of the body where the body is the body of man and not the body of God. The Church obviously was not of the body since the Church rebuked you. Despite the points made by Martin Luther is it possible that the Church rebuked you for a reason? By rebuking the Church it is uncertain that Christianity today has the means to make a stand against Satan.

How does this work? Today you woke up to discover that the demographics no longer favor the Republicans. How did that happen? We imported cheap labor and did so for years because it was good for business (Republicans are into that), but we don't think of ourselves as South African Apartheid. Aren't you like a Catholic girl who cherry picks the tenets of her faith? You don't believe in birth control, but have no problem with extramarital sex with men who would not be inclined to marry you if you should get pregnant. I get the feeling that Obama would be inclined to agree with me on this point.

Though it can be difficult to wrap one's head around the prohibition against birth control a relationship between the birth control and sinfulness appears to exist. As such I concede the Church may be right. The Church is more interested in the health of your soul than what may appear to be sensible social policy.

mnottertail -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 12:48:11 PM)

I think we got into it by not voting the lucifer slate of candidates.

BenevolentM -> RE: Why should we preserve Iran (11/14/2012 1:47:33 PM)

The Republicans actually thought that Reagan was Moses. Bush II claimed to be Moses II. Obama claimed to be Moses III, the antimoses. Have we been watching a horror film? It's stupid.

In a sense Reagan was Moses and suppose for the sake of discussion he was in a sense Moses. My point is not to denigrate Reagan. The problem comes when you go and try to make a sequel. Could Bush have realistically walked in the shoes of Reagan? Just like in film making usually the sequel is not going to be as good as the original. Bush took Reaganomics to the max. Obama is playing the same game, however. So the Democrats reason that if the Republicans sinned so too can the Democrats. If the Republicans can make such a bad film as Moses II we too can make an even worse film.
