When caught early, most cancer is not a death sentence. Of course, catching it early is the key, and far too often what doesn't happen. Again, a POSITIVE outlook has been scientifically proven to bring about more success in treatment. Unless I missed it, you don't mention where the cancer is. But as I said, more cancers are completely treatable than people realize. Think positive, follow your oconologist's orders and don't overdo in your effort to keep doing everything you did before. With the treatment, it is important to follow your body's clues when it tells you to rest. And don't forget you have the positive energy and prayers of all of us here coming your way to help you along. You got some horrible news. I, for one, don't think anything would be TMI if you needed to vent and talk about it. I doubt I'm alone in saying, whenever you need to vent, scream, cry or just need virtual hugs and support, don't hesitate.
