Status: offline 		Top Israeli Foreign Ministry official (retired) and ex-Israeli Ambassador to South Africa, Alon Liel candidly admits that his country operates an apartheid regime in this Times of Israel report:
"As long as there is no Palestinian state and Israel rules over the West Bank, Israel is a de facto apartheid state, a former top Foreign Ministry official said Wednesday, using a highly contentious term usually employed only by radical anti-Israel activists.

Alon Liel, a former Foreign Ministry director-general and ex-ambassador to South Africa, also called on President Barack Obama to stay home if he didn’t intend to warn Israelis about the dangers of an approaching “apartheid cliff.”

“In the situation that exists today, until a Palestinian state is created, we are actually one state. This joint state — in the hope that the status quo is temporary — is an apartheid state,” Liel said at a Jerusalem conference about whether Israel is or could become an apartheid state."

Now that the truth has been uttered by an Israeli official in the Israeli media, it seems pointless for anyone to continue denying Israeli's apartheid status.

I wonder for how much longer will US taxpayers continue to fund, arm and protect an apartheid State?

Status: offline 		I think those who want to justify their racism will continue to pick definitions of Apartheid which don't highlight their inherently discriminatory beliefs.

But as long as there isn't "One Man, One Vote", everything Israel claims about being a democracy is horseshit.

Maybe next time they will take to the streets against their leadership when that leadership walks away from a deal that would give them a state of their own.

I think "apartheid" may be a poor choice of terms. For one thing, it only opens up pointless debate about the validity of the analogy with South Africa. I'd be more inclined to describe what's been going on (since day one) as "ethnic cleansing".

What a crock! A facade of generosity. 97% of the land with Israeli settlements throughout and connecting roads guarded by the IDF. Roads that encircle and wall off the new state into cantons. Really? Would you accept a new United States with foreign settlements on our soil? Don't be daft, mon.

Status: offline 		What Israel has done is the same thing the Nazi did to them in the ghetto of Warlsa and Poland and
so many other places!
Is there no older person to see that history is repeating "itself" I am so ashamed and gut retching
sadness they do not see this happening!!!!!!!

Why are other helping them? I can not say, but they must see this is so hideous and an act of terror
to others!!!!!
