Misandry is the direct result of feminism? (btw, that video is old, even my spell check has the word included) might be interesting for you to note that the word is just a smidge older than the use of "feminism" or "feminist". The only hate here is your hatred of women, Nick. You hate them so badly you want to blame everything on them. Why is that?

I have no interest in having some jackass try to paint me as a victim simply because I'm a man. What kind of weak-minded bullshit is that? Men are violent, power hungry animals. That's what makes us successful hunters, leaders, and protectors. Bury an axe in their head and drink a beer over their corpse...partytime!

General Reply: The OP's apparent problems with women's rights aside, this is a form of bigotry and discrimination and one that I am well aware of. A few years ago I would pick up my four year old grand niece from preschool and take her to my sister's (her grandmother's) house. I would get a lot of looks from other people. Sometimes I would take her out to lunch and I actually had people walk up to my niece and ask "are you okay, Honey? Do you need help?" There was, no doubt, a racial element to this... I'm white and my grand niece is black... but it still pissed the hell out of me. The knowledge that as a male you are automatically suspect when around children is something you don't forget. Almost every year I go to Stratford, Ontario for the Shakespeare Festival. Near the Festival Theater there is a playground next to a nice parking lot. Often, my gal pal and I will get there early and then hang loose for a bit, watching the children play, before heading over to the theater. Watching the delight of children as they play is an enjoyable way to kill some time. This one time my gal pal didn't want to hang loose. There was an exhibition of famous costumes from past plays that she wanted to see before the show. She asked if I was coming along. I said yes. Truth be told, I didn't really care to see the costumes exhibit and would have been happy to watch the children play as usual. But of course I didn't. A lone, middle-aged man watching the kids at a playground... yeah... like I'm going to hang around for the outcome of that. [8\|] It sucks and, frankly, it hurts when society views you negatively for no good reason at all.

But when looking over the grand scale of history, we can see that there has been a lot of suffering by countless men, women, and children who have walked this Earth. You don't think Western society has focused on and considered the suffering of men? I disagree completely with that. Many wars, revolutions, and progressive reforms were brought about by men to help alleviate the suffering of men (and women and children, too). Humans are a violent species. I disagree with the notion that violence is a male-only domain, as I think men and women have a shared responsibility for both the good and the bad about our species. Do you have any solutions to any of this? I think you've effectively outlined the problem you're addressing in the numerous threads you've started on this subject, but what would you propose as a solution? I think just about everyone posting has agreed on the basic concept of equal rights for all, so if everyone seems to agree on that, what else is this argument about?

The last girl I dated had a 10 year old daughter and I was the one who picked her up from school every day. For the first week I had to deal with teachers calling her mother to make sure it was okay for me to pick her up. It was probably another week or two before all the teachers began to remember me. But I didn't let that bother me. In fact, I was more pleased that they actually did check up on me just because I wanted to know they were watching out for her. Fact is, men have been the primary suspect for every kind of crime since the dawn of civilization. If you haven't accepted that by now then you're way behind the curve and possibly being a little naive. My advice? Man up and deal with it or gracefully remove yourself from the situation.
