I'm going to make an enormous pie with crushed ginger-biscuit crust, and then do other unspeakably delicious things with the remainder of the pumpkin. I'm thinking cheesecake, muffins, truffles.... mmmmm. I love anything with pumpkin and I don't care who knows it. For optimum fatness, most of my recipes will involve copious amounts of condensed milk.

I think you should put the complete recipe in the Recipe section.

I really don't know how anyone can eat pumpkin anything. I can't do it. I was going to make collard and mustard greens with smoked turkey...but I don't think this means anything unless I put bacon in it which I just cannot do either. Or oxtail stew? I am such a HAM.

Ah, there you are JAS. I was looking for your avatar the other day cuz it's so adorable, as an example of using a pet avatar w/personalized message. Sorry I thought you were a male sub! Hope I didn't offend you inadvertently.

Guess I better put in my 2 cents worth about bacon. I fry it up slowly so the strips cook evenly without becoming too crisp and end up with a lot of bacon grease left in the pan, which I don't want. Seasonally from Sept-April, we have a local rural group that hosts monthly butcher's breakfasts at most reasonable prices. All-you-can-eat pancakes and fresh butchered pig. Normally I don't like sausage patties, but these taste more like beef than pork, unsalty and nothing like what's sold in the supermarkets. Back when my son was in the Cub Scouts, his den rotated in volunteering to wait on diners. I did the utensil/napkin folding to help out these poor hungry boys who had to show up at 6am and wait until 10am before they could eat any breakfast so they could serve themselves sooner.

I wonder if anyone makes bacon ice cream. It sounds as disgusting as garlic ice cream, which people gladly buy every year at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.
There's just no accounting for taste

Mixed together it would be a salty mess, but it'd go well on top as a garnish.

At the Saugerties Garlic Festival in September, they also make garlic ice cream. I haven't had it, but have heard that the garlic is simmered until soft in the milk/cream. That mellows out the flavor to a point you can't identify it.

Raw or fried garlic is much stronger and that would be inedible.

His Tallness says it tastes great. I have issues with "non-combinable" food items, so I didn't taste it.

The ignorance astounds! Read this: http://www.hungryforchange.tv/article/10-things-the-processed-food-industry-doesnt-want-you-to-know

Why do people get so overweight? 1. It is unattractive. 2. It makes you seem ill disciplined. 3. It is unhealthy. 4. It makes life practically difficult. 5. It is bad for hormones, energy and happiness. 6. Fat people earn less and can get into far less jobs. However, people still continue to eat, eat, eat. So I was wondering what the opinion on this is, in this online bdsm community is? Is it an obsession with physical pleasure like a drug addiction? If so should they be treated like drug addicts and put in prison :).

Gilroy rocks.

(Garlic ice cream, on the other hand, however, does not).

What do you love about Gilroy if it isn't the garlic in all its yucky incarnations?
