Actually, as a founding member (and the largest contributor to same) of the Foundation, I'd imagine he has amazing influence. However, the rules (and federal laws) regards foundations such as the Gates Foundation, mandate very specific rules.

As a Board member, does he have any influence at all? I'd imagine he does.

Does he have a smidge of latitude? I'd imagine.

Which means he can pretty much give the money to who the fuck he chooses.

Sorry....allow me to be more clear, since the common sense and abject clarity of my previous comments is not striking a chord with you Thompson.

Again, there is a Board of directors. Bill Gates is one of those....there are many....to be extremely specific....he gets one vote....no more than any others.

It is not his money. He has absolutely NO control over said money....he has a vote. One.

His vote is one of many.

His vote is considered but federal law mandates that his vote is affected in quorum equally amongst all others.

See...he's a voting member regards money that no longer belongs to him.

That isn't his to dispense.

That he has no advantageous votes over any others.
