To shave or not to shave…

So here is a question I am posing to all the masters (and subs) out there. My master changes his mind about my pussy being shaved on a regular basis. Sometimes he requires a smooth pussy. Other times he forbids me to shave for a few weeks straight.

I know most people have preferences one way or another.

I know I have given him my body to do with as he pleases….so is this just one example of that? Or am I reading too much into the hair vs. no hair thing… Has anyone else ever used this as a method of dominance?

Any thoughts???

It sounds as if your Master enjoys both a natural and shaved pussy. I will assume that he tells you to shave or not depending on his mood and what he would enjoy the most at that time. Yes, he can do that because you have agreed that he his your dominant. Yes, there are other men who also enjoy pussy both ways.

Well ... Hmmmmm ...

I have a preference for very tightly trimmed. I don't like completely clean-shaven and I detest having to push through a tuft of hair that looks like she had Don King in a leg lock with my tongue.

I use a Lady Remmington. It's fairly inexpensive and runs on two AAA batteries. It does it the batteries fairly quickly but, it's a reasonable expenditure, as far as I'm concerned.

We use it with the plastic height guard removed and it gives a very close trim with few nicks and no itchiness.

Perhaps you could suggest a solution like this? He might find it acceptable.

For me...

To shave on a consistent basis provides an uncomfortable feeling. My skin is incredibly sensitive, and it can't be shaved more than once weekly or even a longer period of time. Although I take into account the man I'm with and his preference... my comfort is pretty important. I choose to be closely trimmed vs. having no hair at all.

As for you...since you have "given him your body to do with as he pleases..." you should do just that. If you want to know the method behind his madness...ask him. I don't have the answer for you... and no one on this forum does. When in doubt... go directly to the source.

If you mean as a way of exerting control over a sub, I don't do this, but I do know Dommes who make their male subs shave their pubic hair and testicles. I think this is their preference more than anything else, but I also see it as a form of domination that Dominants engage in.

You are wondering whether what your Master dictates is arbitrary or not. He probably has preferences either way, he could have read somewhere that this is one of the ways a Master should exert dominance off of a checklist, or it could just be a sensible practice to avoid ingrown hairs by having you alternate.

Does he alternate your habits with other things? Or else alternate your rhythms and schedules so that you don't develop certain habits? If so, he is either averse to predictability or dislikes routine, which would be expressions of a personality trait of his having less to do with asserting his dominance over you.

Personally, I like my girl shaved, so I shave her every Saturday night. I prefer the straight razor for this job.

Fuck shaving, get laser hair removal. I don't dislike public hair, I hate it. It is forbidden in my house. I understand some people even like hairy legs & pits. Hell, what's next . . . women with beards?

How expensive was the laser hair removal?

I have CRAZY sensitive skin (see my post on another website you're on for gross TMI details).
NOTHING is working for me, accept following my gyno's instructions of, leave well enough alone. I hate it. I prefer all smooth and so does my man.
BUT my man also prefers me to not have razor burn, rashes or yeast infections.

I've been looking into laser hair removal...but its so expensive and results seems really varied.

Laser hair removal isn't a permanent solution, in my experience. They will string you along telling you it is, but then explain that new hairs have grown from different follicles that were on different growth cycles... and this goes on forever. I think electrolysis may be the only bonafide PERMANENT hair removal option.

I never liked pubic hair so I've been going bare since I was a teen. Master does not like pubes on women so it's a win-win situation. If he wanted me to grow it in I would do it but I wouldn't like it.

I'm not very hairy anywhere. I do keep it all trimmed VERY close, but would shave or wax if it was required. Previous SO's have all felt he same as many here...a well trimmed garden is sexy.

To the OP...

It may well be a control thing... and that's something I can relate to. In the past I've had partners keep themselves bare both because it's my preference, and because it's a relatively simple and regular act of submission.

As it happens, I don't have a massive objection to very closely trimmed if my playmate has very sensitive skin.

Oh.. and past experience (albeit limited to only two partners) has taught me that if you want anything close to permanent, skip the laser and go for electrolysis.

I am and always will be shaved, nothing will ever convince or persuade me not to be. If a Dom (unlikely) preferred hairy, he would need to look elsewhere. Waxing is also fun, I liked not having to shave every week and the smoothness was lovely, but the regrowth is annoying.

As regards the hair removal thing - electrolysis has very varying results, as does Laser, depending on the skill of the practitioner and the body and hormones of the client. Most can be considered, at best, a hair *reduction* technique, which may require top ups now and again. I personally had the best result from laser, but even that requires top up sessions every so often. Electrolysis did absolutely nothing except cost me money and time.

As regards at home kits - in order for laser to be laser (and not just IPL - Intense pulsed light) you need to have a proper ruby laser machine, and this requires training and permits. No at home kit is going to have a ruby laser, so no at home kit is going to be anything like permanent, it's as simple as that.

Having said all of this - female body hair is completely normal, natural, beautiful and erotic and I'm not a big fan of shaming anyone for it. You only get one life, you deserve to feel comfortable in the body you're in - whether that's a bearded one or not.
