Let it all hang out, Hillary

Tell us who you people REALLY are

Move over Chairman Mao, you ain't seen nothin' yet

Video: Hillary: 'Don't Let Anybody Tell You' That 'Businesses Create Jobs'

Get in line, and get your gray uniforms on

Then repeat after me

'Wealth is evil'

Thats right, the communists are in town, and they need your vote

Or at least, no voter ID laws that might slow them down

She also said “You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

And that's true. Even Reagan's economic people said so after the fact.

Context. A reader's friend.

Deflection and denial are two of the lefts best friends

Hillary has said a lot of things that aren't relevent here

Regarding the topic of this thread, the content we are concerning ourselves with, is Hillary Clinton's claim that businesses don't create jobs

markyugen -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 10:19:56 AM)

It's not communist credo to suggest that consumers create jobs, not business, and in a country that is losing its middle class to the extremes of poverty and wealth, this is a threat not only to consumers but to business as well.

mnottertail -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 10:20:37 AM)

Nothing you say ever has been relevant.

I dont care for hillary, but compared to nutsuckers who are destroying this country?

Shes golden.

How is it not relevant? It's part of the same material you're citing -- in fact, the two statements are adjacent.

Unless you're more interested in cherry picking for convenient out of context crap.

I'm no Hilary fan. And the one sentence isn't one I'd have said. But the context is clear -- and accurate.

Except for the ones who prefer blinders.

Wow, a real, on-topic comment rather than a trollish remark

I don't know if this has ever happened here before

Thank you for contributing

Musicmystery -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 10:28:03 AM)

Actually, it's the same topic.

"Trickle-down" has long since been discredited. And that's because over 60% of the economy is consumer spending. It dwarfs government, business investment, and net exports. Not news, except, as Ron would add, to "nutsackers."

mnottertail -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 10:30:59 AM)

Those who do not learn from their mistakes are destined to repeat them, and I have pointed out that nutsuckers are a factless, inumerate, cretinous lot.

You claim you're not a fan of Obama, of Hillary, but you troll relentlessly to disrupt thoughtful conversation about their politics and their policies

Curious, that

Regarding your claim that her later words change the meaning of the earlier words, no

No one is buying that

Leftists are notoriously anti-business, usually they don't come right out and admit it thay way

But when they do they usually deny it again, after sobering up the next day

Musicmystery -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 11:02:25 AM)

Just because I'm not a fan doesn't mean everything she says isn't true.

I'm sorry you struggle with the meaning of words so much, and get defensive when that's pointed out. I don't think I can help you with that.

It's amusing that in other threads, I'm painted as a business first capitalism rocks extremist ultra-conservative, and here, I'm a "notoriously anti-business" "leftist."

Correcting flat-out incorrect claims is hardly "troll[ing] relentlessly to disrupt thoughtful conversation." Attacking posters who do, though, would meet that description.

By the way, this "leftist" doesn't drink. At all. So no need to sober up here.

Good luck with that on your end.

Its like those 'flat tax' ideas that roll around every presidential election from conservatives. How there new 'tax system' is better than the one we currently have. That its a flat 5-14% of one's gross income. There is perhaps 29 different versions, and many times that in second and third tier publications. All of them light on facts, how the mechanics would operate, and whether it would be a better system for the taxpayer and/or the nation as a whole. Conservatives running for office were often 'light on facts' and bit on 'promisese'. Each of the flat taxes to which I could get solid information and numbers from, placed the bottom 95% of Americans at paying 26-49% of their gross income in taxes. And the upper 5%? Well, they will just make that money back next month, so they are all in favor of it. So each of these, like 'trickle down economics' and 'businesses create jobs' is absolute bullshit.

I like the conservatives that demand we should place the dollar on the gold standard again. Notice none of those individuals show a dis-closer of how much of their wealth is tied up in gold? Yeah, those types I love too, since their lying sacks of shit! What would happen to the economy if we did? Would be wrecked within a few months. Would make the Great Depression feel like a tea party....

Again, what 'ideas' and 'thoughts' from conservatives have any merit to the problems this nation is facing? Absolutely none. So why bother voting for them?

I didn't realize OBlahBlahBlahma was running as a Conservative candidate in '08. Interesting.

I hope you don't mind a bit of an aside here, Sanity, but I'm still trying to get a handle on what various essential political terms mean to you. It's proving to be quite hard for me, on account of I've never been great with foreign languages.

Where would you put Hillary on a line that involves Chairman Mao, Lenin, Stalin and Trotsky, for instance? Would you consider Heinrich Himmler to have been a chap with somewhat limp-wristed pinko PC tendencies?

14=49 remedial math is in order.
they make it back the next month, that doesn't mean they didn't spend it.
every plan I have seen has the upper income people paying a much larger % of the taxes than they do now.

People are so shortsighted. Who even cares about "what creates jobs"? Jobs aren't created per sé. Wealth is. It is the distribution of wealth that is interesting. Nothing else.

I disagree, YN. Women with nice tits are quite interesting.

FR

Why even give Hillary the free advertising?

When President Obama is finished destroying any confidence at all among the American people in the competence of government of tie it's own shoes, much less to tell us how to tie ours, the entire Democrat brand will be dead for a generation.

MrRodgers -> RE: Let Your Far-Left Freak Flag Fly (10/25/2014 5:56:51 PM)

Businesses all by themselves as a stand alone subject...do not create jobs. The marketplace creates jobs. Demand in that market creates jobs.

Businesses don't just decide to create a job...managers see higher demand or a need for a service and [he] may...hire somebody and that may...create a job. In fact businesses have been in the business of eliminating and moving jobs to fascists countries with no labor laws i.e., oppressed labor.

The last thing a business wants to do...is 'create' a job, they would always rather have others just do more work rather than hire yet another person to do what current payroll can get done.

The Fortune 500 has not 'created' one new net job in the US in over 50 years.

So I can see how you'd a little pissed...Hillary was right.
