Good Question and fascinating answers.
With one recent exception (who was ten years my junior) all my subs have been between eighteen and thirty years my junior but it hasn't caused any problems and the shortest "relationship" has been the ten year difference, the rest all lasted 2-5 years.
That said all my relationships (after the first) have been about "play", albeit 10 days together at a time every few months, when abraud on business, with both of us adjourning for irritating things like work. Most together time spent "between the sheets" (metaphorically of course - the sheets only come on for the cuddle and sleep period if the air con is too high) and only occasional forays to the pool, spa, resteraunts, clubs (I prefer crowded live music R&B to dance or live music Jazz for eating to) and the flicks, tourism to the local cultural natural and historical highlights (usually with sub acting the guide and as occasional subtle play thing) and in a couple of exceptional cases hanging out with local expat buddies and their understanding (usually equally younger) wives, or very close work colleagues and their vanilla girlfriends, or sometimes with the subs friends (in that case I had two girls who were friends, both in the local seining scene, the one having introduced the other to cover for her when unavailable).
It maybe helps that (though not particularly in condition these days) I'm told I look and dress about ten years younger - no kids helps. It may also help that I met all my girls bar last two in vanilla adult chat rooms for NSA encounters - so they didn't care to much about my age before meeting me and once we'd played and they were owned we never looked back.
One of my girls, about twenty five years younger I think, did get irritating silly sometimes but that was personality un tempered by age, and she was less bright than the norm - my current girl at twenty five (a writer, trained in law) is a very mature person but still with the fun attitude of the young.
Incidently I've got nothing against older girls if they haven't aged prematurely mentally or in outlook (I know a sixty year old who would pass for 40 and a bunch of thirty and forty something's who look ten years older than they are)
My oldest (45, philosophy lecturer) was great company and very youthful in outlook - and we had some great discussions when she needed to rest - we didn't last because her work commitments and arts commitments, and my erratic schedule meant we coulnt meet frequently enough for either of us.
What I have found is that very few post 40's are looking for "long termish" NSA ownership with no chance to become more so that limits the pool to the experimental twenty something's and the usually post / between relationship "time to try that" thirty somethings. And having now passed that magical 55 number a lot of girls are filtering me out here - Fet life's a better place to look - where I acquired 9.
Would be interesting to hear from some girls who regularly play with a decade or three above to hear how they feel about the differences! Also what drives that subjective 'ten year plus' ceiling several of you have imposed on yourself?
