One interesting feature that has emerged in Europe has been the concerted attempts to exclude the racists of the far Right from the 'National Unity' march in Paris, a march that attracted c30 world leaders and millions of ordinary French people.
"François Lamy from the ruling Socialist Party explained why The National Front has not been invited to take part.
"We are inviting all political forces, republican and democratic... We are not inviting organisations that divide the country, stigmatise our fellow Muslims and play on their their fears,” Lamy told Le Monde."

http://www.thelocal.fr/20150108/charlie-hebdo-le-pen-french-far-right-barred-from-national-unity-march

This follows a trend that emerged first in Sydney with the #illridewithyou campaign in the wake of the recent siege. The trend was picked up in Germany where counter demonstrators outnumbered the right-wing anti-immigrant and anti-Islam PEGIDA movement by a factor of 10 to 1.

In all 3 instances, democratic values of inclusion have been stressed, along with a clear message of solidarity and inclusion towards Muslims who have in the past been singled out for attacks and marginalisation following terrorist incidents. It appears that people are increasingly sick of the Right's message of fear and hate towards minorities especially Muslim minorities, and are taking steps to make this rejection of the politics of hate and exclusion. (Are you listening Sanity?)

According to your own article they are more the mainstream than the fringe:

quote:

For her part Marine Le Pen was furious that the party, who came out on top in the European elections last May, was “excluded” from the march.

Since you're emphatically stated that "leftists" are not liberal, which group is espousing these "liberal" views?

The only straw man was your pathetic notion that anyone threatening to murders gays was "Just using hyperbole"

We were discussing preachers, dippy

Some other troll (your half sister perhaps) was trying to claim by inference that Christians / the West are equally as bad as Islamafascists when it comes to hating / killing gay people

The one case you came up with was a random robbery that the law here prosecuted vigorously, while (again) Islamic law calls for stoning gays

Just more of you trolls comparing apples to dog shit as per usual

No surprise to see you back away from your bullshit remark with another trollish attack. We were actually discussing the murder of gays, your insistence it doesnt happen in the good old US of A, and that anyone making such a remark is just using hyperbole was as laughable as it was insulting.

It might be nice if you could let me know which legal statute allows for the death of gays with impunity. Or is the government allowing letters of Marque and Reprisal?

Although. . . you calling for prosecution is rich. I suppose as long as it is not Muslims being prosecuted it is okay. Killing and raping white girls is okay.

Dozens Arrested in Raids in Europe

quote:

BRUSSELS

More than two dozen suspects have been arrested in Belgium, France and Germany in continuing searches for suspected terrorists, authorities said Friday.

Thirteen people were detained in Belgium and two arrested in France in an anti-terror sweep following a firefight in which two suspected terrorists were killed, and more suspects are being sought, Belgian authorities said.

French and German authorities arrested at least 14 other people Friday suspected of links to the Islamic State group, and a Paris train station was evacuated, with Europe on alert for new potential terrorist attacks.

On Thursday, Belgian police moved in on a suspected terrorist hideout in the eastern city of Verviers, killing two suspects and wounding and arresting a third.

Eric Van der Sypt, a Belgian federal magistrate, said Friday the terrorists were within hours of implementing a plan to kill police on the street or in their offices.

---

Visiting a scarred Paris on Friday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met French President Francois Hollande and visited the sites of the city’s worst terrorist bloodshed in decades. Twenty people, including the three gunmen, were killed last week in attacks on a kosher supermarket and the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo and on police.

Hollande thanked Kerry for offering France support, saying, “You’ve been victims yourself of an exceptional terrorist attack on Sept. 11. You know what it means for a country. … We must find together appropriate responses.”

quote:

“It shows we have to be extremely careful,” Van der Sypt said. The Verviers suspects “were extremely well-armed men” equipped with automatic weapons, he said. Some of the individuals “were in Syria and had come back,” he added.

Authorities have previously said 300 Belgian residents have gone to fight with extremist Islamic formations in Syria; it is unclear how many have returned. Thousands of European extremists have also fought in Syria.

You expect to be taken seriously when deliberately distorting so ridiculously?

No.

In the 1990s, Mexican drug trafficking organizations set up large laboratories in California. While these massive labs are able to generate fifty pounds of the substance in a single weekend, smaller private labs have sprung up in kitchens and apartments, earning the drug one of its names, “stove top.” From there it spread across the United States and into Europe, through the Czech Republic. Today, most of the drug available in Asia is produced in Thailand, Myanmar and China.

It's a problem in rural areas, because (1) it's easy to hide and (2) farms have one of the key ingredients.

As always, you are just another drooling troll spreading ignorance

Practically speaking, one cannot buy certain key ingredients here anymore

One headline of many recent headlines regarding Mexican drug cartels on the other hand:

Deluge of meth from Mexico spreads misery across Texas

Edited to correct the broken link

Tell that to the crystal meth labs here.

And you got a stupid going on you that even duct tape wont fix, and it fixes damn near anything.

I think the South American all the way into Mexico drug trade can be directly attributed to St. Wrinklemeat and his need to destroy the constitution by arming the Contras.

Both of you are right, meth is shipped from Mexico and manufactured in many many US areas.
