Tell that to the crystal meth labs here.

They don't seem to have received your memo.

The labs have moved to Mexico for the most part. Again, practically speaking, one cannot obtain certain key ingredients here.

I don't know if you've noticed, but illegal substances have a way of finding their way in...

No.

In the 1990s, Mexican drug trafficking organizations set up large laboratories in California. While these massive labs are able to generate fifty pounds of the substance in a single weekend, smaller private labs have sprung up in kitchens and apartments, earning the drug one of its names, “stove top.” From there it spread across the United States and into Europe, through the Czech Republic. Today, most of the drug available in Asia is produced in Thailand, Myanmar and China.

It's a problem in rural areas, because (1) it's easy to hide and (2) farms have one of the key ingredients.

Both of you are right, meth is shipped from Mexico and manufactured in many many US areas.

Thank you. Yes, checked, and I stand partially corrected.

Appreciated!

Home grown manufacturers have to show an ID to buy extremely limited quantities of the various cold medicines used to make it here, severely hampering production

Which that would be great, if even more cheaper meth wasnt flooding in from Mexico

Do you actually believe that people can't/won't find a way around the laws? Not that I think for a moment you will accept any information that you haven't found on your own....

http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidwhelan/2012/05/23/losing-the-war-on-meth-and-sudafed-at-the-same-time/The war on meth, including collateral damage to people with colds, has been stuck at a stalemate. Abuse rates initially dropped by two-thirds after the pseudoephedrine regulations went into effect. But over the last three years abuse is trending back up again toward pre-2006 levels. Meth users now buy drugs imported illegally from Mexico, according to a recent report in The Economist. The post-Sudafed meth is more refined (rising from 50% purity to 80% since 2006) and thus more addictive and dangerous. The temporary drop after 2006 is evidence that it took some time for new suppliers to emerge–not that abuse is down.

Yes, so sad. Those evil republicans not wanting to let the "dreamers" stay. Almost like they expected people to follow the rules and take the legal route getting here. But saying that doesn't let you imply that they're racists, so stick with your way.

Wow you're rude.

I said on my first post here that both of you are right, meth is flooding from Mexico yes but it is also still being manufactured heavily in the US.

Get a clue yourself.

Apparently I made a mistake in attempting dialogue with you, you seem incapable of civility.

Dreamers that's the new way thing to call illegal aliens to make them sound like solid valuable citizens, right?

And still a mass murder in France is a great excuse to attack the West, mainly the U S, a less opened minded person than me would think you backed the terrorists. I just think it is a case of moral equivalence gone crazy.
