Yeah, but how do we go about it

Do we just look for lonly isolated men and throw hookers and weed at them?(totally for this one)
Do we monitor all social media,on the look out for potential malcontents?( gawd damn, they'd be knocking on half of our doors)
Do we make getting help so easy that folks are practically tripping over crisis hotline ads?

Despite identifying himself as a conservative, on his MySpace page, Harper-Mercer posted numerous photos of the Irish Republican Army’s provisional incarnation. That group was openly fighting for a socialist Irish republic, which would be at odds with Harper-Mercer’s conservative leanings.

"The material world is a lie. For so long we have been taught that what’s important in life is to buy this and have that. To always have the latest fashion, biggest tv, fanciest car, nicest house, and blah, blah, blah. Well, the truth is we’ve become so attached to these things, our spiritual development has been halted. Just like they say in fight club “We become owned by the things we own”. Most people will spend hours standing in front of stores just to buy a new iphone. Those same people will complain about how they don’t have enough money but will always have money to spend on apple products. This attachment produces so much of the stress and worrying in the world today. I used to be like that, always concerned about what clothes I had, rather than whether or not I was happy. But not anymore. Since then I have learned the truth that such attachments are falsehoods and will only bring misery. This is my first blog post, there will be more to come."

**Yes, he sounds conservative.** (sarcasm)

I'm not going to rip you for the guilt-by-association slime, because I'm sure somebody on the Right would have jumped on the same thing if he'd been a liberal Democrat. But seriously, the dude was 26 years old, still living with his parents, hated religion, and was into Left-Hand Path occultism.

Yep, definitely a typical conservative Republican!

"On an interesting note, I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are. A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight," he wrote.

Food for thought there.

57 this year...so far.

But it's good to know we don't have a gun problem. We have too many kids, apparently.

It is also wrong
There has been a move of late by anti gun groups to redefine mass shootings.
This allows them to claim far more than the FBI or even Joe claims. He claims about 1 a month. If there were a semi-reputable source with 57 he would use it. There is one group that is trying to claim at least once a day.
They claim cases where no one is killed.
They even called the Garland Tx case a mass shooting when the only people killed were the two terrorist.
On top of this, as in Garland, Fort Hood and PA, they include acts of terrorism in the count, these clearly need to be counted differently as they have nothing to do with this kind of dispicable violence.

I rounded,it's the begening of the 10th month(month is still young),if you round to 60
60 dived by 10 equals 6

I'll tell you what I think is wrong. There are literally thousands of homicides in the United States that can be laid at the door of illegal possession and trafficking in firearms, and neither the Republicans nor the Democrats do fuck about it. The NRA, to their credit, have long argued for better enforcement and stiffer penalties to no avail. Even in New York, a virulently anti-gun state, the penalty for illegal possession not involving the commission of a violent crime is a Class A misdemeanor that carries a 1-year sentence. But people will get righteous about banning pistol grips, flash suppressors, and telescoping stocks. I mean seriously, what the fuck?

Just a drop in the bucket compared to gun homicides in any one year
