If I really did have that much power over *every* dude who ever sent me an email, I'd be well on my way to taking over the world.

Not over *every* dude. But I know why I'm afraid of you.

Random chick from across the globe not answering your email had absolutely no consequences.

OMG... I would never dare to call a woman a "chick". Even a woman who would delete one of my message to hurt me, remains a lady I fully respect. I assume that, if she wants to hurt me, she has good reasons to do so, even if I don't understand them.

littleclip -> RE: Deleted unread (5/8/2016 1:06:51 PM)

if i send a message and it is deleted and not read i just move on and take no more than it was not a good match. im married so that puts off many that see me so i dont get upset about it. the best thing for me is to go out and interact with the local community, last night i went to a rope class social event till near midnight. i met new folks and made new friends and had a wonderful time.

Your profile indicates Actively Seeking Online Romance.

I'm optionally open to it. It is not a requirement.

quote:

You did not specifically mention how impolite Bavarian dominants are.

You think all Bavarian dominants are impolite? Then you really don't know the Bavarians.

quote:

You did not specifically call out German dominants or Austrian dominants either, or those other nationalities bordering your own country.

Bavarians and Austrians are within a reasonable distance for me to interact with in person. For other people, I'm available online.

quote:

Naturally, you only try to contact people who are also Actively Seeking Online Romance

Wrong. I just don't refuse an online romance if someone who wants to dominate me, also would want to have an online romance with me.

I am submissive, and whether or not I will have an online romance with a dominant, is up to the dominant, it's not my choice.

quote:

... with a 63-year-old German sub who writes he does not care who dominates him, whether this person has a penis or vagina or both, their age, that you are pretty much offering your submission indiscriminately to anybody who wants it aged 18 or older ...

What's wrong with it? Those things are unimportant to me, as I don't want them to obstruct a D/s relationship.

To me, someone who feels she is a woman but has (still) a male body, is a woman for 100%. Transgenders know what I mean.

Dominants complain that submissives have to many requirements. But according to you, because I don't have many requirements, nobody wants me. Strange.

Shandirra never said she would not try to be a Good Samaritan, just that she would not piss on you.

I understand she would not piss on me when I was in fire, as she may not like me that hot.

I disagree. There are many women who say "no" when they actually mean "yes." And vice-versa.

Please tell me you're not ~that~ stupid in the real world??

And just think, you haven't even seen my sadistic side. [8D]

I've been told more than once that my using the term "chick" doesn't always sit well with certain others. (There are some guys who don't care for the term "dude" as well.)

Now, I've joked around with you from time to time on this thread, and for the most part, I think you've taken it in stride. With this (and your other thread) in mind, I'd like to try to help.

"Online romance" (without financial compensation) isn't going to interest a lot of women here. That means you *do* have to work harder. You are going to have a very low response rate, just like the young guys from India, the married folks who are getting their online kinks because their wife is in bed, or anybody else that is going to be less than optimal. What you want to do is focus on increasing your odds and direct your efforts to those who might reply.

How do you do that? Be more selective about your contacts.

If a person is already active in D/s or BDSM, you probably can't compete. I'm more likely to eat an actual steak than talk about one on the net.

Stick to your age group. While there are some May/December kink relationships out there, they tend to be the minority. Be reasonable about the age range.

Look for people interested in 'online' that specify they would be likely to respond to you based on *being interesting*. Appeal to those aspects in HER profile that make you a more likely candidate than ten thousand other guys. If you have things in common, it increases your odds.

Read the stuff that has been data-mined from other sites.
If a person is using the hover feature to scan those first few lines of an email, learn the things that you should avoid. (OKCupid has a ton of research on the subject. Anybody looking to increase their response rate should read that stuff.)

Post more! Casual conversation increases people being willing to answer your email, if people see you are a good guy.

Hope that helps just a bit. [:)]

Thank you very much for your extensive advice, Lady.

Incredible how nice some sadistic ladies can be.

Then would you please be so nice to explain the point to me? Thank you in advance.

While I cannot write for another, my take on her point is this; stop whining and worrying about things that aren't centered upon you. If you bitch about something insignificant, it makes you appear uppity.

Nothing in this entire thread is meant to be offensive to you. It's advice, freely given, that you came here to find. People have helped you. The fact that it doesn't coincide with your overly sensitive sensibilities isn't their problem. It's yours.

It's the internet. Someone not answering or even looking at your email isn't a personal affront. Get over it.

Please feel free to call me "LP". Most people do.

angelikaJ -> RE: Deleted unread (5/8/2016 2:15:53 PM)

I read that you write personalized messages.
And from your statement regarding deleted unread actually hurts your feelings, I am going to guess that perhaps these are not brief initial emails.

Generally speaking, people do not appreciate lengthy emails.

So in the future be more concise.
Keep it to 2 paragraphs.

[My] Master caught my interest this way: He asked me a couple interesting questions about the content of my profile. And He told me a little about Himself.
Interesting questions led to more interesting questions in subsequent emails.

The time to begin investing yourself and your emotions would be after someone writes back... a few times.
You don't have to take offense that someone has deleted your message.
You could choose to view it as proof that they are incompatible with what you seek.

Thanks for having learnt me what good men deserve.

I now understand why recently, when I offered my seat in the bus to a lady, she got angry with me and shouted at me: "I can stand as well as you can!" Yet I apologized.

No, once again: I don't write to a random woman. I first read her profile and her journal to make sure I can offer her what she wants and I have nothing she doesn't want.
