I have to agree with Araven here. If the mental connection is there, it doesn't matter much what she looks like. If it's not there, it doesn't matter if she looks like Katie Holmes.

As for age, first of, 40 is NOT older. At least not when looking at it from my vantage point. I find, however that more mature women tend to have more experience, more patience, are more confident and more at home with themselves. All nice qualities in a Domina.

I'm guessing that I fit into this 'Older & Larger Domme" catagory @ 5'9", size 14 clothes, 40something & fierce lol...I don't hear much about thin domina's as opposed to thick or bbw dominas, I think the age part may be a turn-on & have an assumption to yrs.of experience in the lifestyle & the shape/size is for power/attraction for the sub's...

Funny. While I find it extra kinkalicious to dominate a man significantly younger than me, I tend to think of all submissive men as "boys". As if I have an honorary elder status regardless of whether he's 18 or 58...

I'm glad to hear there are submissive men who prefer my body type, though.

Well i might not be old in years ... at times I feel 50 thanks to life experiances

I would love to find subs/slaves who have an interest in BBWs so far I've had next to no luck finding those who are interested in a women who carries a few extra pounds, but is in otherwise good shape.

How about older, larger and not into corsets and thigh high boots or "ballet" shoes.

As an island girl; I prefer to be in bare feet whenever. And I guess technically I am not an island "girl" as I am over 50.

Guese you can take the girl out of Hawaii but not Hawaii out of the girl or in my case woman.

I agree it is nice to be appreciated for one's experience and wisdom that comes from living life over time.

That could well be. Could it be that the imposing stature of a larger dom also contributes to her own sense of physical and psychological power? Although I'm not bbw, I personally would feel a bit diminished if I had a slight build or were extremely slim. How important is sheer physical presence to all of you doms?

I like being tall enough that I don't need high heels and big and strong enough that I'm not afraid to walk down the street, definitely. But if I was a tiny domme I would find some way to enjoy my tiny-ness, for example by playing WAY more horsey, riding, and stepping-on-people games.

So far as physical stature difference between me and the man goes--I tend to prefer bigger or taller men. Mostly because there's nothing hotter than bringing a big strong man to his knees.

Being a big girl myself I do enjoy bigger women. Actually I enjoy all women. I don't care about size as much as I do personality and attitude. Big, little, tall short, I do not really have a preference. I enjoy them all. Age isn't an issue with me either, though I do not think 40 is older.

There is a spiritual speaker named Marianne Williamson who has this very cool statement that sends chills through me. She basically states that when you see a woman in her 40’s up to something you better take notice. 40’s is truly a terrific period. I hear that 50’s are as well but have not arrived there yet.

I'm fairly new to this site, definately older and a bbw... and even before coming into bdsm (ie when at at "vanilla" dating sites) I have had submissive men approach me and offer to serve me. It took a while to realize that part of being a strong dynamic woman who is.. strong headed... is the possibilty of being served by younger slim or muscular men.. on my terms. Of course their terms almost inevitably involve ass play in addition to spankings and whippings... doesn't anyone just relish "serving".. and some advise from experienced Domme's... do you have to be a sadist from day one or does one sometimes learn to enjoy dominating men in this way?

Ass play is not something I regard as "painful" to a man, at least if it's done right--it's just very intense, because there is a HUGE nerve bundle up there which is analogous to a clitoris. Learning to stimulate that properly causes them to have volcanic, hit-the-ceiling orgasms, which is something I enjoy.

As to whippings and spankings--I've learned to enjoy dishing out sensations to those who enjoy them, but the pleasure definitely has to be there, not just pain. I'll never be a true sadist--my power tends to manifest more as control.

Welcome Mistress A. I can't speak for others, but I personally have only this year become a sadist. For 12 years I was dominating, but only over the last 6-8 months have really developed a truely sadistic streak. Of course, only over the last 6-8 months have I met true masochists, so......
