using fast reply Though I am not exactly looking for anything other than getting to know people, yes, the name does mean alot ESPECIALLY when they have not provided a nice face photo. One good face photo, especially a relaxed candid one, tells me just about everything I need to know. However, if I get an email from (making these up) Isqueallikeapig, Imakittengirl, princesspink, toiletboy, ashtraygirl, etc etc etc......chances are I am gonna keep moving. Also the ones I call, romantic novel names......mistyravenshadows.....I just see that and think....back the boat up, too much drama ahead. And yeah, I am a picky bitch. A good photo and well written email and profile can tweak the initial impression of the name also. And Michael, to answer your question about adult photo's. Any person that posted or sent me a photo of naked parts would automatically get ignored. I am not a prude but I do not want my prospective other to be showing my prospective property to the whole rest of the world. I like people with a little class and respect for themself. When I see a picture of genitalia I lose all respect for that person.

Yes it would make a difference. If someone sent me a image of their genitals, it would entirely depend on the image. A tacky colour image would put me off. Your newest photograph would not persuade me to contact you or respond either. But thats just personal preference. A naked Black and white, tastefully done with a good background would say to me "...this person has imagination..." and entice me further, whether they were showing their genitals or not. Nick names don't matter much too me, accept if they are rude because then they just make me laugh. However, it's interesting and provides a little insight if the person has a very creative nick name. I always anwser emails once, even the rude ones. I figure if maybe I can shove a little comon sence up their asses they might, possibly actually become human. This nick? I wanted to be origional, and it does mean something to me. My lil_twisted nick? Was given to me by some friends, it has double meaning. Thanks Doctor_T and PropMaster! Adult photos? Well... Unless they are interesting like peircings, or too show off their last wax play, or what not I think it's a bit rude. I don't want to know what your naked bits look like.

I agree with pretty much everything that has been said ahead of me here. And the only thing worse than a name with 69 in it, is a name with 3 or 4 69's - apparently trying to communicate quantity? (and i think CrappyDom is the best nick ever. It is the first one I noticed here, and it conveys a sense of humor, and someone who does not take themeselves so damn seriously.)

A nic will not be the final decider in whether I email someone or not. FOr example, if someone has a nic of "Hugecock69" I will still respond to him if he writes a nice sincere message. And if a guy has a nic of "NamasteShiva" and writes a one line wanker email, I won't respond. So while the name does make an impression and goes on the clipboard, it alone will not be the decider.

What the hell does your nick have to do with the person it is attached to. if you find the nick offensive then fine don't talk to them. but if this is how you base who you talk to on here then congrats you have taken shallow to a new level.

It doesn't make much difference to me, it's what is written in the profile I look at more as to whether I will write them or not. With my old name, I got a lot of compliments, I think it showed I had a sense of humor, and didn't take the whole damn thing quite so seriously. I don't want nude pics, that's for sure. If it's something that is tasteful, like darkinshadows said, that is a bit different. Just getting a color photo of a penis doesn't do much for me. Heck, being a woman, I can just ask a guy and he will show me in person..not much mystery to be had there. There have been men I have talked to for a long while, and I asked to see theirs, but it was more so I would know what I was "working" with when we met...lol. Akasha

I don't mind adult pics unless they are blatantly crass. An artistic, tastefully presented form is pleasant to look at, but a super close-up of nothing but genitalia is really a turn off.

I will generally not contact anyone with a peculiar/specific kink name, unless I've seen his writings on the forum and he seems to be a social/decent human being from that. I will usually give someone the benefit of the doubt and go read his profile if I get an email from ass worshipper for example. The fact of the matter is that 100% of the time, when someone with a stupid nic (like heel slave or pu**y worshipper) has contacted me he has always turned out to be either completely socially inept and/or an one-hand-typing wanker. I usually don't even read the email, I just delete/block immediately on seeing unwanted crudeness in my mailbox. I have no interest in interactions on that level with strangers. I have nothing to say to a guy who is presenting himself as "BigHardPenis" or "LickUrAssCrak". Any explicit sexual references in the screen name and it's an automatic trip to the circular file because I just don't want to hear about it. If his screen name is slightly less crude but still mentions a specific fetish (eg, FootWorshipper or StrapOnSlave) then it depends on how busy I am and how many other emails are in my inbox. I find that I'm more drawn to people that don't have those key words in their names. I'm cynical of the Masteroftheuniverse and Domlydomlords. I prefer people who have names that are either just names or are more descriptive of their personality rather than their role. Of course there are always exceptions. And if their email strikes a cord with me I'll answer whether I like their name or not.
