i've always wanted a motion sensor imbedded in mine, and every time someone stands in front of it plays a recording of my voice " a-hem! excuse me, could you step a little to the left? a little more.... thanks. you were standing on my spleen"

1- the old biker tattoo:         NO REGRETS
"for every step i took got me closer to Him"
2-  "it could be worse, it could be raining "

when a biker friend passes away we come from many miles around, even out of state and we ride if the weathers good enough . we cook and cry and dance and remember. and every year we accompany the families to the resting places of their loved ones with motorcycle escort. then back to the club to cook and cry and dance and remember.

"They can't hit a thing at this range"

"Well, what did you think would happen?"

and one that actually appears in a cemetery in Utah:
Two things I love most,
good horses and beautiful
women, and when I die I hope
they tan this old hide of mine
and make it into a ladies riding
saddle, so I can rest in peace
between the two things I love
most.

Pooh nodded thoughtfully.
"It's the same thing," he said.

"In the End ...Only Kindness Matters"

I am hoping that 100 years from now nobody will remember that this quote is from a *shudders* Jewel song.

I hate Jewel (best selling poet of all time---what does that tell you about American literacy?) but those are still some of the most true and beautiful words I have ever heard.  Damnit anyway. *smiles*

It just makes me think of the nursing profession, and comforting my grandma when she was dying.  The tiniest comfort things that we need to do at the Ends of Life--caring for tiny helpless babies and for those on their deathbed.

Why leave the Kindness for when it is Crucial?

So I try to live like it is the Main thing that Matters ---and passing that thought on after I am gone would be my wish.

*Bright Blessings*

Linda

I think... I'd like a stone with my name and birthdate and all that one one side.  The other side would be mostly blank except for the worlds "A man walks into a talent agency and says, 'I have an act I think you should represent.  Its a family act and I think you're going to love it.'" written in small letters at the top.  A box of chalk will be left at the base.
