No, dear benji, I simply choose to explain what is necessary. Are you always this argumentative?

I answered the questions as I saw necessary. Regardless of what I say, there will be many in opposition, so why would I turn My own face blue, trying to explain, taking, what you all freely call here, bait?

If you are interested in the specific legalities of running the safe call hotline, I would be more than happy to discuss this, and any other topic, pertaining to TIC, with you.

I am quite used to this kind of assault, although you really do not mean it in a hostile way. I am new to all of you here but not new to BDSM.

Many of you should ask yourselves, however, what have you done to contribute to your world today? Other than make them laugh, which is always a good thing.

Savannah, thank you for your prompt reply, however, I do not feel that you have answered the actual questions..... I still do not know what qualifies a guardian/junior guardian, what qualifies the persons who appointed the guardians/junior guardians to their position.....What makes your member/guardians so 'in the know' to be making decisions? Have they been Police checked for past crimes? Yes, you may have legal representation but how do you stand legally is someone is injured when you have 'guarded/agreed to safecall? ..... im sorry if you misunderstood my initial questions.

Oh and as someone who worked alongside the Police dealing with victims of crime(for which I had to pass vigorous Police checks into my background and undergo extensive training by the Police/professionally qualified people) yes, I would say that I understand about the desperate need for groups/individuals to protect the more vunerable in society but, I find those groups to be a little more believable if less mystery surrounds them.... for example, your comment 'There are other groups that exist, btw, you just do not know about it.', just doesn't hold water where im concerned - you either have something that is good that should be helped and aided in its plight or put on the backburner until all the nittygritty is sorted out and can be explained properly.

I was a paid member of ALT for 6 month when I was first introduced to this lifestyle, about 4 yrs ago. I found it to be nothing but a porno site. I did have several guy contact me but they only wanted weekend bed partners. I want the whole thing a real Master. On here after searching and going through some frogs I have found one.

         my understanding of what a safe call is this:
        A sub is meeting, likely for the first time, a Dom/me.To ensure his or her safety, the sub asks and is given personal information on the Dom/me, including such things as drivers licence, soc security numbers, home phone numbers and address, work number and address ect.
        The sub takes this information, and gives it to a friend. The sub also tells the friend where he or she is meeting the Dom/me. And any other pertinent information.
         A set time period is given.. for the sub to call the friend. Sometimes several times throughout the "meeting", and/or sometimes after the sub is back home alone and safely.
         If the friend never gets the planned phone call(s) then they have been instructed to call police, and share the information about the Dom/me.

So.. am i understanding it correctly, that the "Safe call" hotline will bet set up to do the same thing? Or does it work differently through a hotline?

I'd heard that there was a much smaller ratio of serious players to fantasists on alt.com, and a look through the profile there convinced me of it, so I didn't join. Very interesting to hear what you wrote, whatever's going on it sounds shifty, so it's another reason why I won't join.

I'd also heard a rumour that alt.com had set up fake profiles to send mail to people whose memberships were about to expire so that they'd renew them and get more money, anyone else heard this?
