Is Collar Me the only BDSM site you use, or do you frequent the other two "big" sites, bondage and Alt? I am writing to you today as a warning to heed when visiting ALT in particular. Some of you may know Me from visiting this site, as I held a top 5 position in the blogs for almost two years. My reasons for blogging in general are quite different than the reasons most people blog. I am the President of The International Core, a worldwide BDSM organization that promotes safety in the lifestyle for all, especially newbie submissives and Dominants, provides educational programs designed to inform and enlighten, mentorship programs, and a tremendous political agenda that is poised to oppose the growing trend by the religious rights organization to outlaw many BDSM activities. I am not sure if you follow such events, but the changes going on right now in the UK are mind blowing. The UK has long been considered the "Kink Capital" of the world and the kink lifestyle as they knew it, is crumbling. There are various activities, you may be engaged in now, which if you live in the United States, may actually be illegal, depending on the state you reside in. ALT is owned and operated by Various Inc. They own all of the Friend Finder sites, including all of the vanilla ones. ALT is simply another money making vehicle for them to capitalize on the online dating market. They do not care about the members, and they care even less for the safety of those new to the lifestyle. As you may already know, our lifestyle is filled with fakes and predatory individuals. Because our lifestyle, if you are into S&M, involves physical activities designed, in many cases to inflict pain, you have a lethal combination that is a breeding ground for those who seek to abuse this lifestyle for selfish gain. There are many who have become knowledgeable in this lifestyle but are not qualified to participate in it. A slave is not simply a slut to abuse. The D/s relationship is about so much more than this, with love and trust, an essential component. The BDSM Guardians exist on all of the BDSM sites, and are a large Part of The International Core organization. Yes, they are here, on Collar Me, and they are watching out for you and those like you. We operate within strict conduct and confidentiality guidelines. We are soon to be launching the Safe CALL Hotline. It is a toll-free number, available to members and non-members alike, which enables those who may not have someone to set up a safe call with, the opportunity to do so. The main site of The International Core is a non-commercial, free site. It does not rival any of the BDSM sites because it does not have a personals end, (yet), and we do not charge membership fees. My entire existence was wiped off of ALT recently because they had gone through My email and found that I had been directing members from ALT to the TIC website forum, where most of the activity goes on. There are about 27 different teams, all volunteer, including the Guardians and the Safe Call Hotline team. ALT is aware of the work of The International Core, and, even after viewing the website, deleted My profile and ability to participate in the group there. If you know Me, you may know that I reach many people. I am extremely controversial and outspoken. I personally mentor over 100 individuals, both on and offline. After extensive discussion with the ALT organization, and signing an electronic agreement that I would not longer promote the off ALT website, they still deleted My existence there. They are simply out to get your money. They do not care about you. They do not care if their members are putting themselves at risk. I urge you not to join with paid memberships. Use their services but do not pay for them. Services like Collar Me, which are free, provide much more in the way of a BDSM site. I know CM earns revenue through paid links on the site, including links to the AFF sites. I do hope this post will not be blocked. It is in the interest, and for the safety of all those involved in our lifestyle that I write. I do not seek monetary gain. If you are interested in joining The International Core, you should know it is not a social group. It is a participation only group.
