I have passed these tips on to a few girls and things seem to work for that region just fine, as a member of different military units spending many weeks on end living in the mud, skin irritation and infection are a huge concern... this is what we did: rub that area to shave with straight hair conditioner (softens the hair), rinse completely with cold water, get all the conditoner off (also tightens skin), rub the area with an petroleum based antibiotic cream, do not one that is numbing (can't feel the little cut!).

Okay, now use a good shaving cream... a mug and soap cake are the best you can use, shave WITH the grain and use a new razor, do not go back over areas more than a couple of time and rinse the razor only in cold water, dry and powder with a medicated powder... hope it helps and hope your Owner enjoys using that bald lil cunt ;)

BTW: strapping a girl down and doing the work with a straight razor is the best way by far... but I have been shaving with a straight razor for a long time and dont make mistakes (like I tell her, that was not a mistake!)

What a lovely mental picture!!

and idea for a scene! Incorporating so many aspects of the lifestlye - knifeplay, shaved genitals, the mental aspect (you're going to use that where?????), a little fear thrown in for spice, and above all, the absolute TRUST of a sub for their Dom.

And actually, they do make a smaller version ( blade about 2.5-3 inches long) of the traditional straight razor, which would be ideal for shaving a womans genitalia - or at least less uncomfortable for her ( not having to do a horizontal split to allow access like with full size straight razor)

2 points here - one serious and one not quite so
I forget where, but I have read that the brush used to make and spread the soap from the mug does a MUCH better job of making sure each individual hair gets its share of the shaving soap
and then there is the sensation of the brush moving over that particular area

SavageLust,

That sounds like it would take me at least half the day to do all of that! Methinks it would be easier to pluck each hair out individually, with tweezers!

And in terms of straight razors near my vagina, sorry to inform you, i am NOT a masochist!

(rubbing and consoling my poor vagina now...don't worry, he won't hurt you!)

yet another wonderful suggestion ( applicable only to painsluts or for punishment (stray hairs found on inspection after shaving for example))

A dom friend of mine told me he was going to take his sub into the woods and shave her dry as a punishment. I warned him about razor burn and begged him not to. I haven't heard yet if he did or not.

Having experienced dry shaving (on my face) I can categorically state that it WOULD be a punishment - but, I think, one that might come back to bite him in the ass if he actually does it, as, IMNTBHO, her pussy would be much too tender for ANY sexual activity for a couple of days - so he would, in effect, be 'cutting' himself off (couldnt resist the pun - I know, its a failing of mine - rarely see a pun I can resist (yes I know thats another thread - unusual fetishes - but I dont consider it a fetish as I get no 'charge' out of it))

Well... unless the area you are shaving is measured in square yards, it really is not a big deal. I use pretty much the same techique to shave every morning and it takes about 10 minutes... do the hair conditoner and rinse in the shower ;)

LMAO, no, not shaving a football field here, it's just i'm high maintenance enough without a shaving "routine," as it were!

still not fond of the straight blade against such tender skin...

Ya know, I've shaved men's faces with straight razors but I've never attempted to tackle the intricacies of the genitals (male or female) with one.

It DOES sound fun, doesn't it?!?

"Ok dear, today is shaving day. I've had a LOT of coffee today, so let's see how much it effects my fine motor skills, shall we????"

HAHAHAHA fun fun

I tell people who serve me to come to me shaved. I also pluck the hairs out with tweezers if, upon inspection, I find they have not done a thorough job.

I do, however, have a very old style EpiLady. The kind with the coil. I've been known to use it on hairy asses. In truth, it does a pitiful job of removing the hair. What it does do, however, is painfully pull on a lot of the hair while only removing some of it. "Oh DAMN, guess we'll just have to try again!"

rain,

If you live near a wally world <wal-mart> or Walgreens/Eckerds.... check into
getting some BIKINI ZONE. It's normally near the women's section for vaginal
creams and such but it's made to prevent razor burn.
stormi always uses a new razor, as well as a gel shaving cream
(preferrably a man's with aloe or sensitive skin> and applies the bikini zone
immediately after drying off.

As a result can't remember the last time stormi actually had razor burn.

be well,
stormi

M.Estring-

I loove a hot towel, straight razor shave- but a good barber shouldn't get the tiny little slits you speak of.

A straight razor on a woman is fun, but very time consuming (too nice a job to rush!). In a hurry I've twice shaved 'em right on the bar with my knife- makes a HELL of an impression, but even with my knife, it's never a _really_ good shave.

Stay warm,

Lawrence

Think about getting them permanently removed.

Waxing is only painful for certain hair types and depending on the skill of the waxer. Mine never hurt really, but it did release a ton of wonderful endorphians! Driving home was something else! LOL!

For me I get razor burn only when the hair starts growing back in. Which simply NEVER happens when I wax. It was explained to me like this:

When you shave you are cutting the hair at the base - the thickest part of the hair. When it starts growing back (and since it's right below the surface - it comes back quickly), it has an edge, because you cut the hair, so the top is flat, with an edge around the diameter of the hair. This causes it to catch on things, like ... cloth! So underwear, TP, clothes, blankets, etc. , all tug on the hair, pulling it in the follicle, irritating the skin around and the follicle itself. When you wax - you are pulling the hair out from the root, so when it grows back, it grows back naturally as hair does .. with a point, no edges to catch on anything, so the result is that your hair follicles aren't being irritated, and that why you never get bumps, unless it's ingrown, which is fixed by breaking it open to release the hair so it grows out naturally.

And yanno, it was true. Add in the fact that my hair started not coming back in patches and getting finer and less and less over time pretty much sealed my preference to be waxed. Too bad I lost my waxer when she moved, and never found another. lol

Nothing like a full body wax (pits, legs, and full genital region) to get an awesome endorphian rush though! hehe

ShadeDiva,

I work with a woman who got her full genital region waxed regularly for about 15 years. She said after a while she rarely had to have it waxed at all and today she doesn't have any hair that grows on her genitals. She is adament that if you keep getting it done eventually it won't grow back at all.

I just have no desire to go to a stranger to have them rooting around between and/or on my labia. So, I shave.

Hmmm...I wonder how effective electrolysis would be??? But then, I'd still have to go to a stranger to have them futz with my labia.

well i have been shaving for 3 years now.. and i got this advice from my Mentor who has friends in the adult video industry. New blade every time, with the grain first and than against the grain....and gals you will never believe this but... dry shave...take your shower.. dry off and than shave.
When i told my Mentor of my razor burn he told me to try this method i was shocked.. dry shave there.. no way! But he insisted and i did and i have been doing it this way for three years with no problems...
Try it!

I took over the duties of giving my sub brazilian waxings.

Of course, it was important to use heavy duty restraints, blindfolds, and a nice gag to avoid annoying the neighbors.

Rain, this is my problem too. i just read somewhere on the web that if you put a thin coat of deodorant on the area immediately after shaving that it prevents the breakout. i havent tried this yet. also there's something called Skin Tend that i have tried. it's almost all alcohol and stings like crazy, but if you put it on right after shaving and then every day, it really minimizes it. i also have an electric razor made especially for pussy shaving, i think it's a seiko clean cut. you have to do it every day though and it doesnt give as close a shave as a razor. good luck.

Well, in my personal experience the best way I have been able to deal with razor burn is to 1)Use a Venus razor. I've been using those razors since they came out and I have NEVER been nicked. 2)Use Dove Hair Conditioner to shave with. Instead of regular soap or shaving gels, I've found that Hair Conditioner (Dove in particular) works really well! and 3)Use deodorant afterwards. Someone else mentioned the deodorant thing. I'm here to tell you that it DOES work! I apply a thin layer of just regular scented white Secret deodorant to the area after I've shaved and I never have razor burn.

If you don't want to get a Venus razor, I have also found that the Mach 3 razors work great but I do tend to nick myself with them. If you are going for just a good close trim then the best thing is to go out and buy a quality Men's Beard/Mustache Trimmer. They work great too.
