yeah okay - it was dumb to say it here.  But it felt good.  So there.

i just shoved tape worm pills down my cats throats.  The little bitch - baby of the family - managed to entangle her claws in my skin and on the second attempt she bit down hard enough on my finger to draw blood.  Might sound stupid, but chomped down cos she was fricken mad.  She actually chomped down a few times.

::sigh:: i lost my temper = (  Grabbed her by the back of the neck, slammed her head back and then slammed the pill down her throat.  (and of course some one was holding her front paws)  I wasnt very nice, but damned be, being nice has me bleeding in several places.

She's damn lucky i didnt kick her in the ass as she took of running.  Give her alittle bit of "help" in her departure.

For some reason - atm i would like to go around insulting anyone i come in contact with and bashing their heads in.  Course i've been feeling like this off and on for a week now.  Spoke about it last night with Master.

Bashing their heads in = coming down so hard on their head - you cave the back back of their skull in sending skull fragments into their brain.  Master said i needed to cheer up.  bah

So what if you bash the whole top of some ones head in?  Think they'll survive?  What do ya think it'll look like?  I've a great mental image of one bash.. i wonder what a full skull will look like.  There'd most likely be alot of blood which would just further piss me off.  So i tend to imagine it with out blood.

::sigh:: i think i'm in a bad mood = (

Tip for the cat; wrap it in a towel so its legs are all tucked away nicely and you just have a head to worry about.

Tip for the anger; I'm in the same mood. Come to England and we'll go out on the town tomorrow night. It wont count as murder where I live - more like animal cruelty, but without the towels.

Now LadyE, I am sure you know in this day and age you are more likely to do a long stretch at HM B&B for animal cruelty than actually murdering someone :)

No chance Sleazy! I'd get off with a caution, maybe a bit of community service, what with the gaols being so full.

After all, we must reserve the few places that become available for definite threats to public safety, like old ladies who cant pay their TV licence and journalists who tap royal phones.

The only sympathy I have here is for the cat!
Too bad she didn't get out the door and run away.

I can appreciate the fact that you are mad and all, but there is never a good excuse to abuse an animal.  They are just acting out of instinct.  Imagine how you would feel if the roles were reversed.

maybe you should give the cat to someone who can take care of it without trying to kill it? Losing control over yourself to the point of trying to bash a cats head over a stupid pill... I dont think cheering up is in order here...

Next time (if the cat lives that long) put her in a pillow case with just her head exposed- drop pill in back of throat- close her mouth and gently stroke her neck

You have got  whole lot of maturing to do, little girl.  You should be reported to the humane society.  Just because you are inept at pilling a cat is not justification for brutalizing it.

If there is one thing that makes me angrier than anything else in the world its animal abuse.

Just because you don't understand or don't like an animal's NATURAL reaction to being in an UNNATURAL situation (ie being your pet) its okay to treat it badly? If it acts in a way that is not acceptable to you, rather than trying to understand why and do what you have to do to correct the situation, its okay to just 'get rid of it'?

Maybe you should keep in mind this quote next time you are looking for a new pet. "You become responsible forever, for what you have tamed." Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

i recently had to give my cat (a stray i took in) a liquid antibiotic.  The vet gave the first one and asked me if i would be able to do it.  Well sure!  At home, i tried everything to get it into that cat's mouth.  He didn't bite but he kept getting away.  Finally, i had to straddle him and kind of sit on him, put his head back a little, then get through those teeth with the plastic syringe  (as he was not opening up).  We got through that and i am glad it's over but what a debacle that was!  The next time, i will try it at the vets first.  i don't know.....she just made it look so easy....NOT!

For some reason - atm i would like to go around insulting anyone i come in contact with and bashing their heads in.  Course i've been feeling like this off and on for a week now.  Spoke about it last night with Master.

You do seem to be having an overabundance of anger lately.  Could it be the pregnancy (those hormones are still kinda messes up)?  Or are you suppressing some other anger about something involving someone close to you, like a friend, relative, or even your Master?  Just wondering because i noticed you do seem a bit 'off kilter' lately.

Hope you feel better soon.
DG

i DIDNT BASH THE CATS HEAD IN

i just wanted too = )  the little bitch......

actually, out of all 3 of my cats.  She was the worst.  i knew my male cat would be simple as pie.  That cat is cool.  i never hurt my kitties, just at times i'd like too.  = )  I was abit rougher with her...... but it actually made the process go alot faster and alot less traumatic then me trying to carefully open her mouth, carefully put the pill down her throat and carefully not get beat the tar out of.  She's a wicked kitty.  UNLIKE my other two kitties.  little bitch that she is.......  Aye, when i grabbed her by the back of the neck, pulled her head back and just swiftly stuck the pill down her throat....... much simpler.  i think i was orginally being too cautious for my own good.  Wicked kitty!  she beats up on my mentally retarded kitty  = (   Chases around the older cat.. beats her up..  :sigh::  The fight for dominance.

Ah well.  She's alive well and not hurt one whit.  And she HAD to have the pill.  Dont want her becoming ill because of tape worms do i?

DG maybe i'll get the Vet to do her if it ever needs to be done again.  Scares the crap outta me.  She's high strung and i picked her up once and something loud went off and i had about ALL of her claws dug into my back.  Can you say OW.  LOL

Aye, i've been cranky, irritable and in the mood to go around bashing ppl's heads in.  i was reading up on pinworms and one of the problems with it, is that having pinworms does cause irritablity.  Along with stomach pain and loss of apetite.  Ended up taking something for it yesterday afternoon......... hopefully i'll be back to my normal self.  Either that or i'm going to have to lock all my doors until it passes.

And for all of you idiots who CANT READ

quote:

::sigh:: i lost my temper = (  Grabbed her by the back of the neck, slammed her head back and then slammed the pill down her throat.  (and of course some one was holding her front paws)  I wasnt very nice, but damned be, being nice has me bleeding in several places.

Slammed her head back, IE pulled it back.. IE what the fuck ever.

No where did i say.....

quote:

but there is never a good excuse to abuse an animal.

that i abused an animal........

quote:

trying to bash a cats head over a stupid pill

Now where did i say i bashed her head in?  Hmmmmm

quote:

Just because you are inept at pilling a cat is not justification for brutalizing it.

No where did i say i brutilized the cat......

The closest any of you ejits could of come to think i was  harming the cat was where i said "slammed her head back".  Which is really up for dicussion as to what i ment.  Unfortunetly, you all just wanted to assume the worst.  You ASSUMED what i ment, instead of having the maturity and communication skills to stop and say "hey do you mean what i think you mean?"

Granted i was pissed and going off the mouth.  Granted i side stepped AWAY from the whole cat thing and just plain vented.  i vented ALOT.  i was pissed in geneeral and pissed cos i was bleeding.  So what?  Get over it if you've never seen anyone have a bad day.

Before you ejits want to start spouting "abuse" maybe you should so some research and look at how i treat animals in general (been a few posts on pets on the forums).  But go on and assume, like i really fucking care what you all think.    Just irks me that the majority of you would assume "abuse" over 7 words and some one having a bad night.  Wtg, Bravo - you all failed

well perhaps you should of typed "pulled her head back "instead of Slammed.
Your pissy at us? Your the one who wrote the post, your the one who showed us in your own words your ANGER- so much extreme anger at a cat- why? because she scratched you...boohoo

Now you dont like the fact we have all read what You wrote and responded harshly to your actions - you want to cuss and call us idiots - too make yourself feel better.I dont really care what word you use- slammed-pulled-titlted-bent think up any number of words. What you did and how you handled the whole situation was poorly done

And you must be perfect and have never ever gotten upset?  Never had a bad day?  You've never handled ANY situation in your life poorly?  ::smiles::

I know i handled it badly, shit happens.  Doesnt mean i abused the cat.  i got overly aggressive in the situation.  Calling me "Abusive" was just a wee bit over the top, eh?

And i was actually just in a bad mood and it put me in a poorer mood.  Once again...... shit happens.

But my bad.  i thought i was on the planet earth, surrounded by other humans.  Other humans that understand they arent perfect either.......

like i said, my bad.  Let me go back to being perfect like the rest of you.

throw the first stone lady.

If you need to give them pills in the future, save everyone the stress and stick the pill in a small clump of raw ground meat.  If need be, give them a little taste of just ground meat to start with, then the clump with the pill.

Awww you lil Devil you, I feel for ya. I have scars all over my hands and arms from trying to be ever so "kind" to unappreciative felines. I believe that I gave one cat a nice flying lesson right into a 3 foot snow drift after removing it's teeth from my left hand. One tooth sunk so deep that I could see the white of the tendon long before any blood began to flow. The other night Quigley, resident cat that firmly believes he is a dog, left my bed rather quickly with his ears ringing. I had reached down to pet him and for some reason known only to spoiled fat cats with cabin fever, he decided to sink his teeth into that meaty part between my right thumb and forefinger.

As a general rule I don't really care for cats, especially females. Quigley just moved his cute little(at the time) gray and white arse in and never left.
