Goodness, you sound angry, but I'm offering you a sincere answer anyway. Why am I here? Because a dear friend of mine who is a Dominant in the lifestyle had an account here. I figured if he was around here, it was probably an okay place. I did not find the man I serve through Collarme. We were set up by that same man that I so trust. After my friend had been talking to me about this man for several weeks, I sucked my courage up and did first contact through collarme. I sent him an awkward email. Two weeks later he invited me to come and play with him at a local dungeon with a Domme that he was friends with. Why am I STILL on collarme? Well, lots of folks I know in my local community have accounts here. Sometimes I like the boards. Sometimes I find people interesting and write them and ask them things. My contact with Dominants is limited, I don't email them without sending a copy to my Sir, but I can contact submissives to my hearts content.

Writing my Sir for that first time, was pretty scary for me. I sat and looked at his picture a long time before I wrote that first odd little atempt at communication. Only my rl friends encouragement, that this man could be a good match for me gave me the courage to set asside my fear and reach out to say hello. My sugestion to you is that you consider being active in your local community. Maybe then one day, you will get your own awkward, hesitant message here on collarme from someone who was made to serve you, like I was made to follow him.

Thank you A/all for the truly remarkable and in so many cases quite funny responses. I am glad that so many of you took my post for what it was ment. I will be going back to reply to the ones, one on one, that I really liked. I mean that as a complement. To those of you that just have to know, no, I am not usually this rude. Nor did I intend to come off that way,( at least not as much as some people took it.)

As to all those who questioned my background, here it is in brief. I've been in the scene for over 20 years and I know that some of you won't beleave this but am a well known and well respected member of my local BDSM community. At this point I am also teaching 1 to 2 classes a month on everything from the dynamics of the Master/slave relationship to fire play.

So now to make it fair I will answer my own questions for you.
Why am I here? To meet and talk to people in the scene and to pass on the things that I've learned over time.
How many of you are just here to find someone to fuck? No, I'm not. Just fucking, and BDSM have very little in common.
Or, think that if you take it from behind and let someone slap your ass every now and then, that makes you a slave?
As for this, I know it much, much more than that. It is the greatest gift one person can give another. And I have been truely blessed every time someone gave themselves into my care.

Do any of you have even the slightest of clues as to what this lifestyle is really about?
Honesty. To be honest with yourself and others about your wants, needs, and kinks.

OK, you got me. Even I have to admit I sound like an ass here. What was ment was that when on an adult site, talking about an adult subject, act like an adult. Even though I my have sounded a little negative you will notice I did not pick on any one person. (unlike many responses to me. don't worry I can take it)

This had nothing to do with age as much as experience. As someone else said. Even an old shit like me was 23 at one time. And I admit back then I knew shit.
