In answer to this question posed by Griswold: It IS racist to have all-black colleges. But not the way you are thinking. Historically Black colleges were created because it answered a need among the African American community at that time. Blacks were not allowed admittance into the all-white colleges/universities of the day. So, the racism that was imposed upon us at the time created the need for separate educational systems. And by "racism" I mean a system of exclusion imposed by one race or group of people upon another race or group of people based upon incorrect beliefs of superiority and privilege. Racism is not just prejudice or bigotry, but is the ability to apply action to one's bigotry or prejudices.

1. not true there have been many surrenders before fighting occured, Paris was taken in WWII without any fighting in that city, they rolled over.
2. You know whats a really stagering number the violence between people of their own race... they kill more of themselves than any random white person.
or the prison population, I once read that 3 out of 5 black men, between the ages of 20-30 are currently or have been at somepoint locked up. The majority are violent offenders but once again it is aimed at their own race.

(of course that information was gleaned off CNN several years ago and may have been incorrect but I highly doubt it)
