I wonder how she's doing with her mortgage, or now that gas is about double what it was back then.

No its not.

The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline fell 2 cents to $2.105 a gallon, according to a survey released Sunday by the American Automobile Association.

A gallon of gas has dropped nearly in half since hitting an all-time high of $4.114 on July 17. It's been nearly two years since prices were this low, according to AAA figures.

http://money.cnn.com/2008/11/16/news/economy/gas_prices_sunday/index.htm

Current Avg. $3.773

Considering in July that same year gas prices were the highest ever, I can see her concern if she doesnt have a job.

I didn't forget. But, I also didn't assume she wasn't working, as you continue to do. If you have material evidence that she was unemployed at the time, then, that's completely different.

I have no reason to assume she wasnt working. If you have proof she wasnt, please provide it. The fear people had was of losing the jobs they had.

Unemployment is down... seems she was right.

A new chart from the minority side of the Senate Budget Committee details the fact that, since January 2009, for every person added to the labor force, 10 have been added to those not in the labor force. Here's a chart showing the dwindling labor force:

Source : Senate Budget Committee Ranking Member Jeff Sessions Republican staff calculation of seasonally adjusted data from the Bureau of Labor Satistics.

I am sure you can see the bias in both of those.

Perhaps if you lower your cup of kool-aid, you might actually read what you are posting.

And easily debunked as an "Obamaphone"

Regardless of who started the program, the whole idea of voting for Obama (or any President, for that matter) based on being given stuff, is heinous and one of the reasons why the Federal Government shouldn't be in the business of giving stuff to individuals.

Then we can safely assume that you are against tax cuts for wealthy and corporations, the Fed shouldnt be giving them that stuff. So, Romney is off your plate.

Or, that some vermiform babble is about to commence.

WOW!!!! A tax cut, being allowed to keep what one earns, is being given something.

Un-fucking-believable.

As you are being given police, fire, military protections, as you are being given sidewalks, roads, bridges, using thes daily, and pervasively, yet you arent willing to pay for them.

So, like the corporation that works you, you grouse about paying the working wages.

WOW.    IGNORANTLY UN_FUCKING_BELIEVABLE.

Dance little doggie, dance.

It's not about police, fire, etc. It IS about your statement that a tax break is being given something. Besides, police, fire, sidewalks, etc is not being given anything. One is not given what one pays for.

Dance little doggie, dance.

Well, let's see, if it is applied unevenly, and unfairly, someone is being given something.  And that's certainly what has been done.

Dance, little imbecile, dance. Go hand out phones with St. Wrinklemeat.

Being unfairly and unevenly taxed is being GIVEN something. TAX is taken, not given.

What was it you said??? Oh, yeah-

WOW. IGNORANTLY UN_FUCKING_BELIEVABLE.

edit: And what happened to your police, fire, sidewalks? You were doing so well too

Being unfairly and unevenly taxed is being GIVEN something. TAX is taken, not given.

If I have 10 dollars, taken from two people, and I GIVE it to two other people, I can assure you that regardless if you call it a fucking muckenfutch, it is being GIVEN.

Corporate welfare is GIVEN.  Unfari tax breaks for the wealthy are being GIVEN.

Since tax is only taken and not given, where does the money come from that the inept teabaggers are spending and borrowing?  Who is (I guess) TAKEN that to them?

Puerile mincing is sort of a real glamour deal with drooling shiteating imbeciles. I hope against hope you will never engage in that.

Taxes may be taken from one, but they are given to another.  And I was talking about tax breaks (note the additional word in there, strawman) which while closely related in concept is an entirely different thing, and anyone with a reading comprehension level greater than kindergarden might suss that out.

So, yeah.......WOW. UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE.  Whatever fantasy hyperbole you were off on.

It's incredible that someone could think that if their neighbor were only taxed at 10% while them self were taxed at 50% their neighbor was the recipient of a gift (being given something). Just how convoluted can one get in their thinking process? It's tantamount to holding that a thief, stealing less from your neighbor than yourself, somehow bestowed some form of giving (a gift) upon your neighbor.

The only way to view such process of thought is under the guise that the thief actually owns everything and one merely finds it uneven and unfair that one's neighbor was allowed to keep more then oneself.

Reminds me of a scene in Good Morning Vietnam. Don't know why, but it does.

Edward Garlick:
From a Marine in Da Nang: "Captain Hauk sucks the sweat off of a dead man's balls." I have no idea what that means, sir, but it seems very negative to me.
