sorry i let this thread die but I went on a trip to massachusets. I get absolutly no bumps, rashes, or burns from shaving. Ever. I found that I like the way my balls look shaven, ball hairs are so scragily (sp?) but I shaved a tiny bit around my balls too which I think was a mistake. All of those hairs instead of growing away from the body like my ball hair where directed straight tward where my scrotum meets my pubic area. prickly indeed. I dont wanna try waxing unless im in a relationship and my women would like it. no need to bother with that at the moment.

I shave - maybe twice a week, more often if needed. What works for me as a guy - I shower first(warm, not hot or cold), then use soap and a NEW razor. I shave twice in a row when I do it, because it seems to condition the skin quicker. I use long, single strokes. If I use short strokes, I wind up with razor burn. That's the other reason I do it twice. After that, I rinse and scrub myself to pull all the hairs upright. Ingrowns suck big time. It really just takes practice. It's like shaving your face, you've got to get it conditioned to the razor. Just be very careful when shaving the boys. They aren't easy, and cutting yourself is definately unpleasant.

Years ago I used to use a straight (cut-throat) razor for shaving and I used it regularly on my then wife and her bi subby. No nicks just a good close shave with no complaints. What I use now for pubic and other body hair is a hair clipper without the combs (unless there is a bush to remove first. Safety wise, the clippers cannot cut and give a good close shave. I like it for keeping my neck hairs shaved and add the #4 comb for use on my moustache and beard.

I can't shave, I can only keep a close trim. Shaving does the horrible itchy red bumps all over, even if I just shave my bikini line. I can shave everywhere else. So, instead I use Nair on the bikini line and the "front/top" public hair, and the sides. I just stay away from the actual genitals. Then I can shave around the lips (that part wont irritate) and I usually end up with a small shaped (typical triange usually) patch in the front just above the clit - but I trim it really low.

I shave....bald, and well..i had a big problem at first...and it grows back soo fast..but, now...it grows back in two days..enough si it dosen't hurt...mostly it just leaves my cunt soft and silky.. I tried Nair...burned like hell, and my sister tried Brazillian Wax..and it pulled some of her skin off..so...I don't know but that I'd love for my Dom to shave me..seems incredibly intimate and takes alot of trust...the most. i don't use shaving cream..only water or dry if its long enough.... the only problem i have is that the hair grows intowards the center from the outside...and getting in the creases...like at the very top of the labia...maybe i'm the only one...... PS...everytime He sees my cunt he rubs it and smiles soo big...saying he loves it..LOVES it..i dunno...but it makes it worth it.

Hello There, I'm one of those rare birds that actually thinks pubic hair is very sexy male or female. My Master prefers bald. While I dislike it to the point I can't even look at my twat comfortably in the mirror as I hate the naked childish appearance I do shave completely for him as his pleasure matters most to me now. I've found if I wipe my crotch with witch hazel it cuts down on the in-grown hairs very well for me. Sincerely, sub suzanne

I purchased the Seiko razor mentioned and was very disappointed. It does not accomplish that really smooooooooth feeling. Also, I still got razor burn - although not as often or as much. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

if we're talking about preferences....i prefer being shaved for one who wants that for me...otherwise i do not shave...saving that so that is has meaning when it is that way. As far as what i like to see...i prefer a woman with a natural look...not a landing strip, not the bushman of the Kalahari...if i had to call it something...i'd say the 70s look. As always...your mileage may vary. sting

I'm afraid I'm a traditionalist....I like men au naturel, with hair. Within reason, of course. Having a shave party every now and then for fun is okay, and I hear that a hand job using a good lube on freshly shaven male genitals is pure ecstacy for their owners. As for myself, I found that I'm the queen of the red bumps, and regrowing hair is misery. But the new Nair for coarse hair really does a smooth job, and quickly! It burns a little at first, but clears up the next day. And the regrowth, if you let it, is soft and non-itchy. I wish I could afford the laser treatments, I'd do that in a heartbeat. windchymes

I was very dissapointed in the Seiko razor, did not work for me or my sub of the time. Magic Shave Cream worked well for me and a sub I knew (who recommended it), but did not work for my sub. Shaving with a razor was best for her. I use MSC to trim, and only have to do it about once a week, but the word is that you do NOT let it get near the ureathral opening or inside on any sensitive membranes -- burn city! The submissive who told me about it was quite emphatic about that... One of these years, I may invest in the laser hair removal...

I prefer trimmed. Shaved gets prickly too fast, and some hair allows for contrast and texture and dimension and can be visually pleasing. That said, be careful of waxing no matter what gender you are. Waxing destroys the collagen in your skin, and ruins it elasticity. This means that it will start to sag and wrinkle significantly earlier than it would when not being waxed. I found this out from a plastic surgeon who did restoritive surgery for patients in the hospital where I used to work. He said plucking was the cheapest, best solution to completely smooth skin that would last for any length of time.. and the more you pluck, the less the hair grows back. This just means that my eyebrows are fuller than I might like, as I cannot take plucking. lol. As for down there, clippers, an itty bitty pair of scissors, and a mirror help keep things tidy.

I prefer my Men to have a little hair- trimmed neatly please (I don't want to mix my blow jobs with flossing my teeth, please) bu I want my Man to look like a Man, hair on his chest and all, but that is just my personal preference

I would not recommend it on the balls. smiles I'm brazilian and agree nothing better than hot wax.... no bumps.... and takes a few weeks to grow back.. and grows back soft and a thinner look... you can find it in foreigner stores... online as well.... dont buy from TV those are not the same... hot brazilian wax when heated has texture like honey like, smells sweet, and when it comes with contact with skin dryes like a latex texture and u just pull back and bam done... doesnt hurt.. it may sting a lil for a few seconds but then i all good... i been doing since I hit puberty ... in Brazill everyone goes places, anywhere , salon, that does nails and hair likely do waxing... way too common.. i had never shaved with razors till i came to US... which is a bitch to find good wax, and expensive to get it done often when u find a place that does it..... isoderm is much more gentle on teh skin (youcan use it if you have sensative skin) and doesn't leave the betadine blush!

On the contrary, I can assure you that clippers are perfectly capable of cutting when you're dealing with the many folds on a scrotum :)
