My parents are odd -- my mother was and still is to a degree very emotionally an psychologically abusive but she was also very straight forward about somethings and for that I'm grateful.

I love it and when I came back to this scene I was amazed that there were so many subs/slaves who hadn't done it in years or who couldn't have vanilla sex, even if I would have ordered them to. Some of the stories I've heard, alas....
As many Domme's have pointed out (and as I have told many) what difference does it make if I'm the one ordering them to do it?
But it seems to be hard to find a stud sub/slave, lol.

I totally don't understand why so many have that mindset. I LOVE sex ... why on earth would I want to deny myself that just because some dumbass told them along the way that it made me less dominant to like sex?

I am so glad to hear so many of you agreeing with liking sex! (did I say this already? sorry...) So many subs seem to be into the oral "service" trip. I HATE oral sex. Who got the idea that it was some kind of service, anyway? I want what I want, and that's what I expect from whoever is serving me--IF they are allowed physical contact with me at all. I think that's why I have sex with tops and vanillas, so few sub males that I encounter have what it takes to interest me, let alone keep me pleased.

I am one of 'those Dominants' who doesn't like or allow sex with her slaves. I am attached but by no means is 'my hole reserved for my partner'. The very idea that I would agree to such a thing is insane.

My partner and I have negotiated our relationship with what each of us is comfortable with the other doing. I have great respect and love for my partner and thus would never want to hurt him with actions that are not necessary to fully express my dominance. I do not believe that one needs to 'fuck' or 'be fucked' by someone in order to assert their dominance and thus I don't. This of course may change as we change or, it may not change. Who can say what the future holds.

This aside, I find that many women Dominants are seeking a full (ie: sexual, live-in, romantic, D/s, SM, etc) relationship with a submissive man. Sex is part of living a lifestyle and as such I see no reason why anyone who lives a full and productive lifestyle (D/s or vanilla) would not want to include it. For these women (which seems to be the majority) conventional sexual positions or D/s ones are all fair game and should be so. After all, who are we to set limits on those who embrace a lifestyle choice that celebrates a woman's freedom and empowerment.
