Excuse me, but back story or not, I did give a serious answer in the first paragraph of my response to you. In addition, there is a serious suggestion in the second one as well, to ask in the Gorean forums since you were specifying specfically male dominants.

I tried.....Could add more but the OP doesn't sound like he wants to listen.

I have no experience with online collars. I just figured I should post because I had the proper physical equipment.

hello A/all,
i am the slave he is speaking off.. he does not own anyother girls and i am not owned in any shap or form by anyone... he is asking about this b/c ive agreed to start letting him have some controll over me. OL and in RL, yes we are meeting in 2 weeks and that will be the real test, but im in chats alot and i wouldnt mind an OL collar letting everyone knwo i was his. And for some people being collard online is a big thing... ive seen it... when people are real on line and are themselfs it can be a huge deal! so well i hope this si cleard a bit up, thank you for reading!

Well if you both want some pretty shiny thing to show how cool you are and give you a cyber thing to brag about in cyber land, then go for it. Cyber approval and social connections seem to be pretty good for you both, so align your priorities to that.

Although I have to say the real test is after living together two years having your lameass roommate move out but leave his stuff around for a month necessitating a move for yourself as well with your mom halfway across the country needing emergency surgery the week before she was supposed to come visit happen in the same week you start a deeply intense exercise initiative along with your partner having major board meetings to prepare for.

A first visit? That's a kinky vacation. I'm not trying to suggest that offline is more "real" than online, I think the experiences and feelings you have are as real as anything- simply that what you perceive as "test" and trials and tribulations are on a completely DIFFERENT scale than what I deal with.

So for you having an online ticker next to your profile is a big deal and will mean a lot, to me it is meaningless and shows you care more about looking cool and having a symbol more than actually putting a commitment to that symbol.

I'd give the guy a break.

Trying to move from online to rl creates a lot of confusion and misconception.

The online bdsm community tends to operate a differently as far as protocol and relationships go. Many are stuck in a fantasy world and trying to figure out How to work it into the Real world can be very confusing for someone who lacks experience but wants to gain such experience but has no one to go off of or give quality advice.

It's like breaking old habits and learning what you thought you knew from scratch alone.

Like I said, cut him some slack.

This sitiation is screwed.
