This girl and master are finding there are a lot of 30-45ish swingers, that are a lot more open to playing then the bdsm groups who are really selective on what they are looking for. As swingers just wanna fuck and and you entice them to explore new things, such as bdsm ;) But that is a whole different board game ...

Hi anne,

I think it really depends on the country. I've lived in Japan and Chile; both countries were more rigid with the family serving a MUCH more important role in social cohesion than in the US. The BDSM community in Chile was almost non-existant, and I was only 20 when I lived in Japan, so I can't account for how good or bad it was there.

Yes the smart students are hardest to teach ..heck one teacher in grade 2 put my son into remedial reading classes never realizing he did not need it.. as he was reading newspapers already .... and wa memorizing childrens books and words already at 2 years old

it is not that they think they are too intelligent ...but that most are bored and become extremely distracted by other thought it more an issue of being able to stay focused that is the problem..if you find something that truly interests them them will listen and absorb info like a sponge..if not interested their mind takes off wandering elsewhere

Hmm…. If only text books and standardized tests would incorporate more interesting things! They are getting better, but they still have such a long way to go!

Posting this without having read the preceding pages, so apologies if it's redundant...

It seems to me that the process of becoming a confident (any D/s,M/s role) builds upon an understanding of one's self. The more thorough, the more introspective, the stronger the foundation. The BDSM community is still a subset of the larger general populace...one that, by and large, does not place very much 'practical' value in really understanding yourself psychologically that well.

Older individuals just get enough time to realize these personal discoveries. It seems to me the same sort of question as asking why you'll find fewer 30 year old virgins than 20 year old.

And, though it suddenly occurs to me that this build up appears self-fluffing, it honestly wasn't meant to be...
That being said...I'm 32.

actually i have a theory on this. i have thought about it alot. men around and between the ages of 25 to 36 are really focused on their careers. i sometimes dont think they even notice how much. so its hard to catch their attention and even harder to keep it. well thats my experience anyway.

It does seem that age equates with confidence and knowledge in oneself. Though, that being stated there are any number of examples of recklessness and overconfidence of youth.

And I agree, introspection and self evaluation are severely underrated in our society.

ok, I am going to hazzard a guess. I suspect that the 30-40 for male dominants is the ideal target for female subs young and old. Younger then this there is a question of ability/maturity, older then this goes against the "youth culture" of this country. The 30-35 bracket is the prime career building years. Up to 26-28 a lot of young people are either in college or just exploring thier career options above this many put thier time and attention more into thier careers. I have also seen a similar curve in submissives (male and female) where you have the young doing a lot of exploring and middle aged looking for a change in thier lives. Plus Collarme is an advertisement venue, a lot in this age category may already be taken or not looking. Go to the "Woodshed" in Orlando or "Master's Quest" in Clearwater and you will see a lot of couples in the 30-40 range.

To sum up the lack could be any of the following reasons.

To busy making a buck.
Taken by a lucky sub.
Not looking for what ever reason.

Ofcourse this is not the real cause just an observation and likely reasoned idea's based upon life experiences.

I agree with the general statement here that the 30's is a carrer building time for most people. I am 35 and classify myself as a workaholic. There are lots of people out here in my age group that are looking, though I do admit they do seem tougher to find.
But speaking as a dom in the age range that your seeking, and being single, all I can say is that it can't be only me lol. So if I'm here, then there must be others lol.

Speaking as a 32 year old, I wish i knew. I think part of it is that you are looking for a rather specific creature. the majority of the country isnt into kink. or at least they arent into admiting they are into kink. add to that you are looking for a real relationship (according to your profile), not just a fun weekend. It seems like alot of people dipping their toes into this end of the pool arent willing to get serious. Its easier to admit this is more than just a fling after you have fallen in love.

I would liken it to my friend. He is a christian scientist. he was explaining how within that comunity a single 25-40 year old guy is a rare commodity. Within the church groups anyone that age who is single is quickly snatched up. Unfortunately for him the same applies to the women. so when he enterd the community he was immediately saddled up with fine selection of less than ideal mates. He struggled years to find one that was to his liking.
