How do you get bubble gum out of a childs hair

Soak her hair with lighter fluid and wipe the gum out with a paper towel.

I just refinanced my home with a broker who gave me some bad advice on variable interest rates. I think I'm locked in, but I want to make changes.  What should I do?

HouseofBear -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/12/2006 8:05:46 PM)

Treat the broker to a long nonconsentual fireplay scene, and while they are in shock, have them sign a new contract.

My house needs a new roof.  Any suggestions on what kind to put on?

Put on a steel reinforced concrete roof. This way you will never have to worry about high winds blowing shingles off of your roof. It will not leak and will likely never have to be replaced. Oh... don't worry about the new creaking noises your house will make... it is just the roof settling.

I drink a lot of seltzer water. As a result, I get a lot of plastic bottles that build up and I get tired of running them down to the recycling canisters. Is there something I can do with them?

Vendaval -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 1:04:41 AM)

Fill them with sand and carry them in a bag to the rooftop
of a building overlooking a major street.  Throw them into
traffic and onto the tops of parked cars.  When the resulting
car alarms and accidents ensue, leave the area.
Make sure to videotape your prank with a running voice-over
commentary and post it on your Live Journal.

My pen just broke and got ink all over my shirt and hands.
What should I do?

DarkSideOfThMoon -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 2:11:50 PM)

Change into your sweats and engage your entire office in a 15 minurte work out every hour. Be sure to get eveyone interested by telling them how fat and ugly you think they are, and how much better they would be if they engades in your exercise program. By making everyone do it you will not look l ike the freak doing exercises on their own.

I have an exam in 2 weeks and I havn't studied - how should I get a good grade?

I have a really bad sunburn, any advice on making it better really fast?

Vendaval -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 2:51:11 PM)

Go back outside and get more sunburnt.  The rotiserre chicken
look is the latest trend for summer.

The wind picked up and blew down the fronds from the palm
trees, scattering them all over the place.  What should I do?

Glue them to your head in a straight line from fron to back. Run around the neighborhood at 5:30 AM and crow like a rooster

I really need to get away for a few days, just to relax but I can't afford to go very far. Any suggestions?

Littlepita -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 8:18:55 PM)

Find a family that has gone on vacation in the area and simply borrow their place. Try to get one with a pool.

I sleep on satin sheets and am often losing my pillow. What do I do?

MyCaptainsPet -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 8:33:28 PM)

Put the pillow in a bag, put the bag over your head and tie it  securely around your  neck with a rope.

I am not so great at organization and I need to get better at it. Is there anything I can do to do better?

HouseofBear -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/13/2006 9:06:43 PM)

Uh, find a really strict fem dom who will whip your butt everytime you misplace or forget something and who forces you to throw away everything you do not need for minimum survival.

I have a friend who enjobs being a hypochondriac.  In a lot of other ways they are quite fun to be around.  How should I get it across to them to knock off the sick crud?

Inject them with the ebola virus so they'll be too sick to fake being sick.

I need to hang wallpaper, but I've never done it before.  Any pointers?

Vendaval -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/14/2006 12:01:51 AM)

Start off be removing any glasses, contact lens, etc.
The best way to hang wallpaper is by touch, not by sight.
Don't bother putting drop cloths down, you will just
trip over them.  Use an old pair of rusty scissors so you
don't have to shell out extra bucks for a good knife.
Oh, and last but not least, do this with all the windows
open in the nude; that way you won't have allergy problems
with the dust and plaster and your clothes won't get dirty.

I am going to the Renaissance Fair tomorrow and
don't want to get the tops of my breasts sunburnt
while wearing that tight bodice.  What should I do?

SylentStryder -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/14/2006 8:29:51 AM)

I'll happily follow you around the faire, holding your breasts, so they stay sweet and only my hands get burned............

The tops of my are gonna get sunburned, what should I do?

OhBeMyMind -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (5/14/2006 8:46:49 AM)

Wear tack studded gloves.....the tacks will ensure your hands do not slip from said breasts, and the gloves will protect your own hands.  Problem solved.

My neighbors dog barks all the time....it has become a problem....I have tried talking to my neighbors but it only seemed to make matters worse.  Any advice?

Talk to the dog.  Explain to it that barking is an antisocial activity that demonstrates a lack of self-control, and wouldn't he really rather use his time in more productive ways?  I'm sure the dog will see the error of his ways.

I'm tired, but I just got up and can't sleep any more today.  How can I wake myself up?

Go to the local coffee shop. Get them to make you an entire gallon of espresso. Drink it quickly. Follow that with a box of No-Doze and a few of those high energy drinks. You should feel awake in a few minutes.

I am wondering what I should wear to the restaurant that I am taking my mother to today.
